We received this as a gift when our son was only a month old. As connecting it to the top rail meant he could not see it, I connected it to the crib side along the top of the mattress. He loved watching it, and it took no time at all before he figured out he could hit it and turn it on. This thing is awesome. It will play music, make bubbles, slowly light on and off, and has moving fish! We love it. It is great for the baby, he will watch it until he goes to sleep. It functions as a night light and can be an alert that your baby is awake. We know that when we hear the music and bubbles start up in the morning, our baby is up. It is fun and very cool.

I have used this with both of my boys and they both loved it. My first son loved to lay and watch it when he was a baby, and still loves to play with it as a 2 1/2 year old. My 6 month old has loved it from the beginning. From the time he was a couple of weeks old if he was fussy just hearing the music from the aquarium would calm him down and usually put him to sleep!

I love all of the songs and sound effects. I must admit it's very calming for moms too! Great, great toy!
