Pros: No water heater.  Top loader, so no leakage or mold problems.  Special handwash cycles.
Cons: Like most electronic equipment, board flaws are possible.  Test the machine immediately.

I just purchased this washer along with its dryer counterpart. On delivery day the washer had to be returned due to a message on it saying, "SERVICE NEEDED". We waited an extra day for the replacement, but it eventually came. Later that day I went to do laundry, selected the desired options after putting in the detergent, then hit start. To my surprise it said, "SERVICE NEEDED" once again! I'm ready to try a different brand that can actually wash clothes!
