Pros: Great board control. Very easy to get in and out of. Cons: Questionable reputation for breakage.
A fair number of reviewers have commented that these bindings tend to break, but I haven't seen anything like that myself (and I bought them because I broke a pair of Burton Freestyle SIs all too easily).
Pros: comfortable and easy to use Cons: cables may lose tension, fabric top is fragile
last year i finally made the decision to buy my snowboarding equipment. i've been snowboarding now for about 4 years and every time i've gone i've rented a different set of bindings. i've tried it all, from the conventional strap in binding to the...
Pros: I'm so peeved I can't remember any Cons: Irresponsible company won't fess up to defective product
All I can tell you about flow bindings is what I know and what I know is quite simple. Last year my shop sold flow bindings and every pair we sold broke. The problem in particular was the closure mounting would crack causing the closure lever to become...
I've seen many riders enticed into buying Flow bindings by the promise of a combination of the convenience of step-ins and the feel/support of conventional straps. From what I can tell, these bindings deliver on the promise pretty well EXCEPT EVERY...
Pros: Comfort, ease of use, fit Cons: none significant
I purchased a pair of Flow F11's last year and they are hands down the best binding I've owned. I've tried step-in, straps and baseless (old school) . . .
Some people have mentioned that the plastic closure (used to lock the highback in...
Pros: Very well design in the new model bindings. Cons: (no comment)
Hi, I have been riding Flow step-in bindings for quite a while. Every thing I have to say is good. First of all the Flows do not have a design to give them a certain feel of discomfort in the heal or toes of your feet, even if they are at...
I work at a ski resort and I ride every day, I have 5 pair of flow bindings from the past 3 years and I love them all but, they do break, regularly. I have found the company to be extremely helpful about replacement parts. They usually are quick to...
Pros: Use any regular boots, has strap feel and comfort, no clogging in powder Cons: Need to face hill on steeps to strap in, cable can get de-tensioned
Flow makes great bindings that don't get nearly the PR and marketing hype the big name binding and boot manufacturers pay for. Despite their lack of public knowledge, any rider whose has tried them will vouch for their superior design and ease of...
Pros: Easy in-off, super comfy, awesome control and feel Cons: pricey!
So I just bought my Flows, after looking for a coupla years, doing research and saving my dough. I think that Flow has improved their product over the past two - three years, after all what company wants to be know for crumby stuff?
I recently bought flow bindings and they are the best bindings I've ever ridden on. The response time from other big name bindings is drasticly reduced and the comfort far more exceeds that of any other binding. With the ease of mounting you will not...
Pros: Ease of entry and exit.
No snow clogging.
Works with any boot.
Moderate price. Cons: Setups take a little longer.
Waiting for your buddies to strap in.
I've been riding flows since the beginning, and I would never buy any other binding. This company has been improving their binding from day one. True when flow first switched to the aircraft cable locking system I did break the highback lock several times in the winter of 98, however, Flow had replacement parts to me in less than a week, and sent me a letter of apology. I am now on my 5th model of flows and all I can say is they are the best bindings on the market. The ease of use once they are set up is amazing!! If you are the kind of rider who gets set up and doesn't change your stance for most of the season, and want to spend the least amount of time on your butt strapping in, get these! I've tested these bindings all over Canada and parts of the US and they are extremely comfortable, and low maintenance. If your looking for a good all around freeriding binding these are for you. They perform just as well on the steeps of Big Mountain, to the groomer of Mont Blanc.
