Pros: Works really, really well. Cons: Once applied, you can't touch it. Not exactly cheap.
For those of you who haven't read my other review on the itech 920 hockey face shield, I bought a visor cage combo about two months ago but had a great deal of problem with fogging. People gave me all sorts of advice on how to keep my visor clear ...
Pros: Quite effective in reducing/eliminating fog Cons: Leaves an oily residue which can be seen by the wearer and by others.
Tried this under a variety of ski conditions on glasses worn under Smith Turbofan goggles. The small fan exhausts air from inside the goggle, but under certain conditions I still get fog which can freeze. I also tested this product by putting glasses in a freezer with one lens treated with this product and the other with "Catcrap" a widely available antifog paste. Fogtech was more effective with the freezer test and in skiing. However a big disadvantage is that Fogtech leaves an oily residue no matter how you try to apply it which impairs vision. The disposable wipes leave less of a residue than the liquid. This is bad enough that I probably won't use it again.
