Pros: Great location in Downtown Vegas! Cons: Older rooms still need renovating.
I spent a single night this Thanksgiving weekend at the Four Queens hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. Rates are usually in the $100 per night range throughout the year but because of the holiday weekend, I paid $150 for the night. The Four Queens is ...
Pros: nice rooms, nice casino, friendly staff, good restaurants, excellent service, good rewards Cons: no in room safe, those pesky tour sellers
We recently spent 10 days in Las Vegas and once again turned to our favourite place to stay, the Four Queens Hotel & Casino located in the old downtown of Las Vegas. The Four Queens is at 202 Fremont Steet across the only street with traffic (S Casino ...
Pros: Low Prices, Friendly Dealers, Coffeeshop Cons: Rooms haven't been remodeled since 1961.
Thought I would right a review of one of the old name hotel/casinos of downtown Las Vegas. I stayed here a couple of years ago with a friend for three nights to attend a convention that was in town at the time. It was my first (and only) stay at the 4...
Pros: Inexpensive, downtown Fremont experience Cons: Downtown Fremont experience, a little old
The Four Queens. It's been there forever. It's typical of a downtown casino - smaller, not super classy, old, not part of the big casino mega-corporations. You pays your money, you takes your choice. This hotel usually offers low rates on the rooms, ...
Pros: Assistant Manager was helpful and reasonable Cons: Noisy, No temperature control in room, Security did nothing to help me, maintainence is terrible.
This Hotel failed me in most every way. When I asked them for some kind of compensation for all my trouble, I got NOTHING. Below are the highlights (sometimes paraphrased) of the letter I gave to their director of Operations, Mr Walter Lobeck ...
Pros: Downtown location and windows in the room opened. Cons: Paper thin mini pillows, no alarm clock, Noisy all night long.
We stayed here for 4 days ending 3-12-04. The Nugget was booked so the queens was choosen instead. What a mistake this was!! Our room was in the older tower and bare bones was a overstatement. The room had no alarm clock at all, the pillows were a joke where it took 3 to make one and the noise from the fremont street experience kept us up most of the nights. I had stayed here several years ago and found the queens a ok choice so this was a major disapointment. To make matters worst the electronic door lock kept malfunctioning which made entering the room a gamble at best. I'll stay at the Nugget or strip next time for sure!
