Pros: Ease of use, no fumes, uses a battery, clean cut, current pricing.
Cons: Worry about neighbors lawn services cutting my wires. Does not work well on wet grass.

Summary: I just picked this up on Overstock for $360 shipped (using coupons of course!) in Jan 2004 and it is a wonderful machine. Installation of the wires and peg into the grass was a bit time consuming (took two afternoons on my .27 ac lot) with 2 kids running ... read more

Pros: Works well, safety features, cuts in a pattern, quiet, good battery, time saving dream
    Cons: Time consuming set up

Summary: I guess robots are taking over the world. We now have Roomba to vacuum while we are away. A robot dog named Aibo. And, now, a lawn mower that will operate without you present. If this is how the future is going to be, I love it. Just invent a robot ... read more

Pros: Never manually mow again. Quiet. Clean. Huge "cool" factor. Good for the lawn.
Cons: Manual mode is slow and tedious. Most will need lots of extra pegs & wire.

Cons: Perimeter wire, not good with holes(digging dogs),misses some spots

Pros: Quiet; easy; automatic; works in dark; light
Cons: Can't handle holes, dips well; wire placement; occasionally gets stuck

Summary: I was skeptical. It was kinda pricey (though I noticed it was about as much as the self-propelled I was considering). I think that the risk paid off--big time. I did have to prepare my lawn. Laying the perimeter wire is not difficult, but ... read more

Cons: Misses some spots. Takes a long time to setup perimeter wire properly.

Summary: If you have a small to moderate size yard without too many obstacles it is a great addition to your home & garden gadgets. It is nowhere near as noisy as other lawnmowers, even electric ones and there is no gas and oil fumes to deal with. No need to ... read more

Cons: Trickle charger is useless for anything except keeping the charge topped off.
