Pros: Efficient, air cleaner, remote control. Very nice features for the price. Recommended. Cons: No dock for remote. Test and reset button on power plug should be recessed more.
This is an excellent high-efficiency budget air conditioner for small to medium sized rooms. The fan speed is adjustable so that the unit can push cold air further into a room at higher speed. I really like all the options available in the controls. ...

Not perfect.

Pros: Quiet fan, efficient. Cons: Infernal loud beeping noise.
One thing I look for in an air conditioner is an extremely loud, spouse- and child-waking beep accompanying any and every change in the air conditioner's settings. If, for instance, I want to change the fan speed from 75 to 25, I want to hear exactly 50 high-pitched, 100 decibel beeps letting me and all others nearby know exactly what has occurred. More importantly, if anyone else, especially an intruder, were to make changes to the machine's settings, I want to be the first to know. That's why I love this air conditioner. No matter what adjustments you make to the air conditioner, from turning it on or off to changing the target temperature a degree, you'll not have a visual display plus the tactile sensations of your fingers to let you know what's occurred, but a shrill beep will announce your shrewd decision to you and all of those out of reach or eyeshot. Good work!
