Pros: cools room to desired temperature eliminating the stuffiness of the room. Safe around kids.
Cons: Takes up to much space. it is loud and obnoxious but still worth it

Pros: 10.8 EER,cheap,cools very well.
Cons: Very noisy,cheap construction materials.
Summary: It's true. You get what you pay for. In this case, I paid very little ($159)for Frigidaire's FAA086P7A. I bought it to quickly and economically cool a 12x18 ft. bedroom that gets a lot of sun. I've only had it 3 nights, and it's doing what I wanted

Pros: decent cooling
Cons: too loud!!!!!
Summary: cooled the room ok, but so loud i could not sleep. no rattling or vibrating - just the woosh of air so forceful its like a train. and that's on low. actually there is almost no difference in sound from low to high - they are all so loud. go to a store
