Frigidaire PLGF659GC (Gas) Range

Pros: it cooks food.
Cons: Terrible quality. Terrible customer service.

This product is horrible. Within a month of purchasing it rust spots began to appear on the handle and door. Nearly 3 months later I am still waiting on the parts. Frigidaire customer service is awful. Even though they're quite polite, the customer service reps in India don't seem to be able to help. I still can't get an answer about why there aren't parts available for a brand new stove. Rust spots also seem to be appearing on the top. Why a brand new stainless (???) stove would rust after a month is a mystery. I feel totally ripped off and frustrated.

Pros: Beautiful appliance.  Easy to use.  Oven browns nicely.  The price is unbeatable.
Cons: Some trouble to maintain the ceramic cooktop & grates.  Stove is taller than the specs.

I have had my new Frigidaire 36 inch gas range for about a month now and I have to say, it is wonderful.  I was cooking on an old electric range that had long ago passed it's prime.  So, I was more than ready to start fresh.  This range has not disappointed me.  I love the flexability to choose burner sizes for the job I am doing.  The oven, while a little smaller than what I am accustomed to using, is large enough to handle anything I have done so far.  It is simple to use and the removable pan in the bottom of the oven is great.  If I have spills, I just take it out to the sink to clean.  The oven browns nicely and roasts poultry beautifully.  The ceramic cooktop under the grates is a little trouble to maintain, but ceramic cooktop cleaner once a week keeps it looking great.  All in all, I would recommend this stove to anyone who cooks a lot and is on a budget.
