Pros: The product has a nice stainless steel door,
Cons: but the door handle is always loose requiring constant tightening, impossible to tighten fully.
Summary: While the Frigidaire PLRU1778ES Stainless Steel Refrigerator has a nice stainless steel door, the door handle comes off unless you tighten it on a continuous basis and even when you tighten the handle; it is always a little loose. You cant tighten ... read more

Pros: Great look, great performance, the right idea!
Cons: Doors bins could be sturdier.
Summary: The full side-by-side refrigerator and freezer are perfect when you don't have the extra room or garage for a freezer, or, in our case, we got tired of going to the laundry room for freezer items. We have the stainless version and they look great ... read more

Pros: Very Attractive Exterior, Great concept to have a refrigerator only
Cons: Too many to list here
Summary: The concept is great, but materials used and design are substandard! The bottom door shelf broke. When the technician came to repair it, he said it was the only fridge he's seen that doesn't have insulation between the door and the insert. That causes ... read more

Cons: Breaks down, doesn't stay cool, and uses too much electricity
Summary: I purchased the separate refrigerator and separate freezer two years ago when I remodeled my kitchen. I had my cabinets custom built to accomodate their unusual size. What seemed to be a great idea (lots of space to hold a lot of food), has turned out to ... read more

Pros: The fridge has ample room to keep your food warm. Looks good too.
Cons: Cheaply built. Doesn't cool very well. Will breakdown on you for sure!
Summary: The defrost circuit on mine is not working. It was fixed under warranty then broke soon after the warranty expired. I have rigged it up to a switch to force the defrost. The cooling coil is too small and the fridge can't maintain a constant temperature ... read more

Pros: Looks good, lots of space.
Cons: Reliability is questionable.
Summary: I see that others have had the same warming issue I was experiencing. Apparently, Frigidaire/Electrolux has figured this one out - a design flaw located the thermostat too close to the cooling coil, leading to false readings of the real temperature ... read more

Pros: Looks good with the trim kit. Freezer unit with ice maker works well.
Cons: Cools poorly. Cheap shelving. Interior design in not good. Uses too much energy.
Summary: I'm really upset with this unit. We had our kitchen remodeled and had "the twins" installed. The freezer seems to work fine. The refrgerator has never cooled properly. The seal on the door broke. Some of the plastic shelving broke. It seems to be ... read more
