Pros: Easy to apply and lasts at least 2 months Cons: More expensive than store brands
I choose Frontline after using several "in store" products for my 8 lb. Yorkshire Terrier (Otis-Campbell is his name.) I've previously used Hartz Control One Spot and found my dog continually scratching all night.
My vet...

Pros: Can be used on younger puppies Cons: must be purchased at vet
Most spot application flea control products can only be used on a puppy if it is at least 6 months old. I had nearly given up on finding something for my 14 week old Great Dane puppy when I mentioned it to the vet. She had me get Frontline, as it has a...

Pros: easy to use, clean, safe, it works Cons: none
My Vet. carries this product in his office, with others but he strongly recommended this one. I chose this product for the ease of application, and the full month coverage it gives for flea control. I like the applicator package, one time dosage in...

Pros: No mess and it works Cons: none
Frontline Top Spot has been such a relief for my 6 year old Maltese. We have moved to a southern state where the fleas are so bad I didn't think any thing would help him. He is all white and was told that it only makes it worse for him with fleas....

Pros: No fleas and ticks, once a month application and only necessary during peak flea season Cons: Price, availability (not in general stores)
As a pet owner with three dogs and a cat, fleas and ticks can be a huge problem and well as a financial burden, but with Frontline it's not nearly as bad as one would think.
Having tried Advantage and Hartz Control, as well as flea...

Pros: Everything! Cons: Nothing bad about it!
Frontline Top Spot
I have used and tried many tick and flea treatments for our dog. After using messy shampoo/dips, horrible smelling powders and very ineffective collars, I almost gave up. Until I visited his vet and she suggested that I...

Pros: effective, long-lasting Cons: none
My dog never had a flea or tick problem until I moved to Maryland. And then she became completely infested, and it happened so quickly. I went to my vet who prescribed Frontline. I couldn't believe how quickly it worked. In less than two days, there...

Pros: Very Effective Cons: Costly, but well worth it
I have 3 domestic cats and 1 Miniature Schnauzer and they all love to hang outside and play. Our summers in the mid-west are extremely hot and humid, therefor there's really no getting around all the flea & ticks in our area.
My...

Pros: Absolutely effective Cons: Comparatively expensive
I've been using frontline for a couple years. I call tell when it stops working, and so can my dog. The usually hyper 15 pound dog known as Lucky, sits calmly letting me put the medicine on. I'm no Dr. Doolittle, but I get the message loud and clear. ...

Pros: good for combatting fleas Cons: irritant to humans
I started using frontline for my new kitten because I had used Program for my old cat, but could never get him to eat it in his food. I thought something to put directly onto the skin would be better.
I have so far found frontline effective...

Pros: No ticks or fleas Cons: Expensive
What a difference a drop makes! I took one of my three cats to the vet a few months ago and after casually mentioning that it was flea collar time my vet suggested Frontline. There has not been a bug in sight since. This is amazing seeing as my cats...

Pros: Effective, ease of application Cons: Cost
After many years of living in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and using sprays on the yard, dips on the dogs and flea bombs in the house I learned about Frontline. The ease of application using the pre filled tubes, makes Frontline simple to apply, just snap off...

Pros: Kills Existing Fleas and Eggs, Tick protection. Cons: expensive
As a owner of two dogs, I was introduced to Frontline a year ago, and have been using it since. Each application will protect your pet for 1mo. If you have a dog already that has flea infestation, this product will kill all the flea eggs and ...

Pros: It's quick and easy, effective, and long lasting. Cons: Is expensive depending where you buy it.
I have used and applied this product to many animals at a kennel, even on my personal pets. This product last long, is not harmful to the animal and only takes a few seconds to apply. Most importantly it works better than any other flea and tick control...

Pros: easy to apply Cons: no effective
My vet recommended this product for my long haired mixed breed and my purebred bassett hound. This product was very easy to apply but had no effect on the tics that were on my dog. We tried numerous products i.e. Hartz, Sargent and none were effective...
