Pros: One heck good lens , one of the best cheaper digital CAMERAS of all time Cons: white balance, color, not bright enough , only 3 megapixels , not a great chipset1`

Pros: For the pro, it's fun; for the novice, it'll make you look like a pro. Cons: The photo program on my PC is easier, but with practice I'd enjoy the Fuji.
Summary: Although I'm no camera guru either, as an Art Major I did take a couple photography classes in college, so I've done it "the hard way" with a standard 35mm camera, so I have some comparison experience. The purchase of the Fuji FinePix 3800 was the ... read more

Pros: Brilliant colors, easy to hold and use, 6x optical zoom Cons: Breaks easily (mine after 1.5 years), poor autofocus in low light, large size, poor construction
Summary: I purchased the 3800 in 2003 and like everyone else, I've done quite a bit of research before purchasing this camera. I was primarily looking at Canon S45's reviews but when I picked up the Fujifilm 3800, I thought that this would be the one. The ... read more

Pros: I adored the camera and took awesome close up shots Cons: It died an instant quick death with no warning!
Summary: I have always loved my Fine Pix 3800 and had no problem with it until a few days ago. I have had it over 2 years. All at once, the ring around the main lens became loose. I taped it on so it would not fall off. I could tell something had broken but ... read more

Pros: Light weight, Very good Zoom, Range of features & Settings, Useful WebCam Cons: Low Light Focus Problems. EVF/LCD dark in night shot so low point and shoot accuracy.
Summary: I bought this camera last October and I've taken more than 4500 shots with it so far. it was tough to get used to it initially as this was the first time I was using a camera which was not point & shoot. I never owned/used an SLR before and most of the, ... read more

Pros: Good colors outdoors, strong zoom, ergonomic controls, decent bundled software. Cons: Weak flash, slow shutter in automode indoors, troublesome autofocus.
Summary: Before delving into the review, I must make the following confession: I am a complete amateur in digital photography, and photography in general. Being also quite lazy, I never figured out this camera's manual mode (one justification being that the ... read more

Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, great quality Cons: Accessories are pricey
Summary: Before I start this review, I would just like to add a little information about myself. When it comes to technology and electronics, I will be the first to admit that I am no Guru. Talking about pixels and macro's are merely terms that I cannot relate ... read more

Pros: Very good photo quality, simple and intuitive interface, lens converters Cons: Limited manual override capability, short flash range
Summary: Back in the old days I was sort of a photography snob. You know the type: color photography was for tourists, autofocus was for kids, and no one serious used film faster than ASA 50. I could develop and print in B/W or color; push my film all the way to ... read more

Pros: Large lens produces high quality photos. 6x optical zoom is best in class. Cons: Shutter lag prevents good action shots. Not enough manual features, ie: ISO settings.
Summary: This is a fine camera for an individual just starting in the digital camera world or a replacement for the seasoned user. Even the discerning user will find that it's simplicity does not compromise photo quality. There is more to just point and shoot ... read more
