FUJIFILM FinePix 3800 Digital Camera

My first experience with a digital camera, and I'm competely satisfied. Particularly impressed with the performance of the zoom and the excellent exposure quality in low-light conditions. Only complaints are the absence of an autofocus assist lamp and the so-called lens cover. If you're looking for a quality point and shoot camera, you will not be dissapointed.

Great camera for home and hobby use. Well thought out. Of course the lens cap doesn't fit, throw it away. And no, it does not fit in your pocket, it wasn't supposed to.

This is a great little camera, and for the price, you can not beat the feature-to-price ratio. I have had it for 1 month now, and I am still amazed by the things this camera can do. I am disappointed that Fuji still does not have a carrying case for this camera, but other than that, I strongly recommend it....5 friends of mine have bought it after playing with mine for a while.

Ease of use, "feel" of the camera in my hand, picture quality, excellent zoom, built-in macro feature, 55mm lens hood ring that allows me to use filters and lenses from my SRT, intuitive software, good low-light shots, you name it. All-around great camera. But, I have small hands. People with large hands should probably try it first. May be a bit of a "tight fit."

Great Camera, I had an HP Photosmart 315 before and this camera is amazing in comparison. It is great to have the optical zoom, I recommend this to anyone.

Got the camera for Christmas. Our first dig camera. Takes great pictures and is very versatile. We wanted great quality pics for a reasonable price. I think we got it.

I have had mine for two weeks now and it's done great. It looks good, feels good in your hand, and it's very easy to use. The image quality is great. Taking stop action pictures requires that you learn how to use the cameras auto exposure lock and then it's easy. Taking pictures in low light isn't the problem some people seem to think...it needs to be really dark before you can't see anything in the view finder, and when that happens I just point and shoot, and it has worked fine. The only complaint I have is the lack of more advanced manual controls and the 3 second maximum exposure time, but I'm just being picky, this camera can do 99.9% of what anybody wants. You won't be sorry you bought this one.

great quality/price ratio. great optical zoom. light, ease of use. very good battery life. lightening fast picture download overall i am satisfied with the product :)

Used it at the company Christmas party last week and even at the lowest setting in very low light conditions the picture quality was excellent. The Finepix viewer software is more basic than than the most basic viewing and editing software. Invest in Photosuite or Adobe.

This is a great camera for the cost. I researched dig cams for over a year before I purchased this one. Its hard to find one with good picture quality and above average opt zoom.

this camera is very light and comfortable easy to use and is choc full of features the picture quality is great, the zoom feature is the best i have seen on a mid priced 3.2 digital camera i am very happy with my purchase and so will you enjoy!!

I bought the FinePix 3800 a week ago. I love the 6x zoom and easy to use software. This is my 1st digicam so it is a great experience.

I just got this camera and it did not take me long to figure out. It has lots of easy to use features. It takes nice pictures. I took some of my pics that i took to wal-mart and got them developed and they turned out great. Also is a great by for the price. The new Xd cards are great too. The only problem I have found is the lens cap does not stay one well mostly when you have on the 55mm converter.

Bought this on trip to the states and have not been disappointed. The 3 pixels really caters for all possible situtations and the camera is really easy to use. The lens cover is pretty flimsy and I could have used the focus light in dark shots but otherwise this is a great camera and these issues don't detract from my overall scoring!

Nice little camera! I was looking for something with some substance that was stable in my hand. This camera meets that requirement. At first I was frustrated that the camera seemed to produce out of focus images, however, once I finally broke down and read the manual, that problem was quickly overcome. The combination of the view finder and LCD display is fantastic. Great camera! Recommended.
