FinePix A345 4.1-Megapixel digital camera, decided to try the 5
.2-Megapixel
Fuji FinePix A350. I got it for $170, which is a rather low price ...
Pros: great pictures when it actually works. Cons: Bad Battery power, shuts down, bad zoom, it is simply a waste of money!
About three years ago my parents bought me a camera for Christmas it was a Fuji FinePix A350 Digital Camera. For the first year of use I loved this camera and took as many pictures as I could. It wasn’t until the Christmas after getting the ...
Pros: compact, takes pictures and video, uses AA batteries Cons: poor quality images, breaks too easily
I wanted a camera with more megapixels so that I could get better photos than I did with my Gateway Camera, so I started shopping around. I decided, since I didn't want to spend a ton of money, I should look on ebay and get more bang for my buck, ...
Pros: Good pictures when working Cons: Broken more than working. Customer service is inept and uncaring. Service is even worse.
I purchased a Fuji A350 in June 2005. The camera took outstanding pictures for three months. Then the focus ability became intermittent and the camera could be relied on for nothing. I sent the camera directly to Fuji for repair. They advertise 10 - 15 ...
Pros: low cost, useful features, good quality, simple to use, reputable electronics photo manufacturer Cons: stiff "joystick" control for the zoom and menu, small(16Mb) memory chip comes standard
This camera was purchased as a gift for Christmas, to replace an inexpensive 35mm point and shoot camera. The intended purpose was to be for snapshots of vacations, the grand-daughter, and other family occasions. The prints would be commonly 4/6 or ...
Pros: Shutter lag is not a problem as it is with other similar cameras. Cons: Pictures using zoom indoors are blurry compared to other similar cameras which produce sharp pictures.
I bought the A350 as a gift for my daughter on 4/20/05 after having excellent results for 3 years with my Fuji A303. I received it by mail from J&R Music on 4/28/05 and tried it immediately. The partial or full zoom shots were not sharp at all - actually ...
Pros: Compact. Has a sport function and a strap. Cons: LCD went dark after 10 months. It works, but seems like I'm wearing sunglasses.
Camera was a gift from my husband to replace an Olympus that that had died a few months prior. Originally it worked smoothly, but my problems began all at once.
Fuji provides FinePix viewer software so you can upload photographs to your computer. Recently it decided it did not want to work or upload pictures. No matter what cable or USB port I tried, the program would not recognize the camera. I was able to sneak in through Adobe Photoshop, which is total waste of my time.
The flash options are touch and go, and it is difficult to get any sort of decent lighting for a sport function.
By far the most aggravating function is the LCD. I keep my camera in a case, so I know it has not been dropped. The screen turned brown 9 months after purchase making it impossible to correctly focus on the subject of your photo.
I have no further plans to contact Fuji about this camera. I plan to try another company as Fuji SUCKS!
Good Camera....for almost a year by thekaratemom ,Sep 14 '06
Pros: Price, Nice pic quality, Cons: Slow to open & take pics, zoom grainy
The picture quality was great on this little camera. I found it easy to use & upgraded the card so I could store more pics & videos. The zoom made pictures grainy though - I believe this to be common in cameras at this prices level. Also, it takes a while to turn on and then the button for taking pictures is slow to. It takes some getting used to. I used this camera almost daily for both businesses I own and for taking shots of my kids (Grandparents live far away). It worked great for the first 8 months then the picture quality went bad & it started turning itself off (even with fresh batteries).
Glad I had the service plan. Best Buy replaced the whole camera.
I think this would be a good deal for someone who does not use their camera a lot. I however, really do use a camera everday and wore this one out.
