I usually prefer a FULLER body

by proxam Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, May 08 '02
Pros: A typical example of British IPA's
Cons: A little thin-bodied
Claiming to be London's oldest brewery, the Griffin Brewery has been continuously producing ales at the same location on the banks of the Thames since 1654. During the last 30 or so years, Fuller's has gone from being a small, craft brewery ...

I'm Not Bitter, I'm Pale!

by caconti Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Apr 12 '01
Pros: A classic form of British beer.
Cons: None.
Nothing goes together like good beer and great friends. This review of Fuller's IPA is not only a probing look into a great import, but also to a fine Epinionator who's achieved the Herculean feat of 500 reviews.

Who's the mystery writer?...

Fuller's IPA: Not quite what the troops would have expected

by andaryl Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, May 04 '01
Pros: Nice malty flavor and aroma, slight hop, highly-reputed brewery
Cons: A little thin and not hoppy enough
Based in London, it’s actually the first brewery you’ll see if you fly in to Heathrow, Fuller’s claim to be the capital’s oldest brewer. Interestingly, I remember Young’s making the same claim but I don’t have the date at hand. The Griffin brewery, home...

I like the dock-worker photo on the 6pack :)

by magistrate , Jun 26 '01
Pros: Great IPA taste.
Cons: A tad more syrupy than others.
When I'm visiting my grandfather in England I love to hit the pubs for one thing - BITTERS. It was my thirst for bitters that led me to Fuller's beers at a few of the local pubs. As you probably know, many of the pubs in England are owned by or have...

Classic English IPA

by jruemmele , Feb 10 '00
Pros: Excellent example of English IPA
Cons: Hard to find in some markets
I had been saving it for a special occasion. Special occasions are far and few between in these dreary days of winter however, so I broke down and had my Fullers India Pale Ale last night. Just like MAGIC it became a special occasion. Fullers India Pale...

Traditional IPA from a classic brewery

by twistedtounge , Nov 12 '01
Pros: A classic English style IPA
Cons: Not hoppy enough for the American IPA drinker
Fullers is an old, almost ancient, brewery of England and produces traditional English style ales. This IPA is made in the classic style of English IPA, which tend to have a balanced flavor and less hops than the American IPAs.

Fullers IPA is...
