Cons: belt letting go in tire, could be dangerous

Pros: Futura tires are affordable, handle well and have a competitive tread life.
Cons: From a stop, Futura HR Touring tires have poor acceleration traction.

Pros: Good wear, Reasonable Price
Cons: 2 surprise failures has me worried
Summary: I bought a set of Futura Lites for my Vitara. They were 70,000 mile tires and at 60,000 still had good even tread remaining when 1 blew out. I had it replaced with the same tire (prorated saved me $25) and it threw the tread off at 10 days old, 2000

Pros: They seem inexpensive and I had no objections to the ride comfort and handling.
Cons: It amazed me at how fast the tread life diminished so fast.
