General Electric GLDA690MWW / GLDA690MBB 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher

Cons: VERY SMALL RACKS. DIFFICULT TO LOAD BOWLS AND LARGE DISHES. CHEAP FLIMSY MATERIAL

Both the racks are made of cheap material and the rack sizes are EXTREMELY small. The description in the online manual was not accurate. There are only 2 sprayers and there are NO fold down tines as stated in the manual. It is very difficult to fit bowls and other objects. The flatware basket falls over very easy and the knives don't fit in the specified holder. I am so disappointed, I really dislike this dishwasher and will never buy another GE.
I contacted GE about the misleading info and they said we're sorry but there is nothing we can do because it was a typo in the manual.They will now correct the typo.
I ordered this online because I could not find it in the stores and chose it based on the item description, my mistake because I cannot return it now .

Pros: It is quiet...which is good since I run it 2x/day
Cons: Way too small; cheap upper rack that is woefully inadequate. 

Very unhappy....cheap rack that is not adjustable and very, very small.  I also won't buy again from the local dealer (DeFrank's in Hamilton NJ). They were not at all knowledgable about limitations.

There is no adjustments to top rack -- can't put the fold down pieces down because the height is too small. 

Local dealer measured and they measured WRONG>  Way off as my prior dishwasher, a maytag, was 30% bigger.  Dealer went so far as to tell me to buy smaller dishes.  Definitely won't be buying again from them.  Have always loved GE appliances but now doubt I'll buy another one. 

Pros: Low height. Works well.
Cons: Nothing really. Not for the money spent.

I read the other reviews. Comical. It's a 24 in dishwasher! It's supposed to be small! The reason MOST people would buy it is it fits under a low countertop. Also, it doesn't cost $900. It's not anything fancy and much of it is plastic inside but I've had mine for 2 years with no complaints. We are a family of 4 and we run it everyday nearly. It's an ADA compliant dishwaher that won't break your budget. It washes dishes. They come out clean. If you don't slam things around, my guess is you'll have no complaints either.
