Pros: EASY TO USE , CAN PROGRAM THE UNIT USING THE DC CORD IN YOUR HOME.
Cons: NONE....THIS IS A FANTASTIC PIECE OF EQUIPMENT......AND NO, I DON'T WORK FOR THE GARMIN COMPANY

I RECENTLY SPENT A WEEK IN THE WASHINGTON D.C. AREA. AND WITHOUT MY GARMIN 2820 I WOULD PROBABLY STILL BE THERE TRYING TO FIND MY WAY BACK TO THE MOTEL.
THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL GPS UNIT. I LOVE THE DIFFERENT ENGLISH ACCENTS BUILT INTO THE UNIT, ESPECIALLY THE AUSTRALIAN ENGLISH.

Pros: EASY TO USE, HIGH QUALITY, MOST USABLE GPS'S I HAVE FOUND FOR THE MONEY.
Cons: THE ONLY CON I SEE ABOUT THIS UNIT IS NO INTERNAL BATTERY.

I HAVE USED THE GARMIN STREET PILOT 2820 NOW FOR TWO WEEKS ALL AROUND THE GREATER PHOENIX AREA AND I DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK OR CARRY A MAP JUST IN CASE I GET LOST. THIS IS THE GREATEST AND MOST FUNCTIONABLE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT I HAVE PROBABLY EVER USED. I AM TOTALLY IN AWE HOW ACCURATE IT IS AND THE POSSIBILITIES IT OFFERS. THE QUALITY OF THE UNIT IS SUPERB.
