Pros: Softens hair Cons: Leaves sticky residue, strong scent, relaxes curls, does not prevent fly-away
A few months ago I was looking for a new mousse. I have curly red hair and I let it grow past my shoulders usually so I need something strong enough to hold my curls together but with enough softening power to tame the frizzies so I don't look like ...
Pros: Defines curls and holds at first. Cons: Peters out really quickly.
Since I had my hair cut to shoulder length, I have been wearing it super-straight. I get tired of the same old hair style after a while and my hair does have quite a bit of perm left in it. I bought Garnier Fructis Curl Construct Mousse to ...
Pros: Gentle hold, light fruity smell. Cons: Doesn't hold the curls all day.
Curling irons, hair crimpers, flat irons, gels, mousse, spritz, or spray, all of these things could drive a poor girl crazy. I’ve witnessed my sister’s morning hair ritual and I’m in no envy. She has fine, thin, straight hair. What she puts those pretty, ...
Pros: Nice shine, pleasant odor Cons: Not strong enough to hold curls all day
Garnier Fructis Curl Construct Mousse is not my first choice for mousse for curly hair. Having tried and really liked their other products for curls, I thought I would give the mousse a try when I ran out of my usual mousse. I have found that it does ...
Pros: Leaves hair soft, DOESN'T weigh hair down!!!! smells ok, helps sculpt curls!!! Cons: Bottle-too small, scent could be a bit sweeter, could hold better without addition of hairspray.
A friend who recently cut her hair short recommended it to me... I was a little skeptical - because most of the mousse products I've purchased in regular stores make my hair look oily, or weigh it down... but I decided to try it anyway. I was not ...
Garnier curl construst mousse by thalia35 ,Jul 21 '06
Pros: Great for texturized hair. I am a type 4a. Cons: None.
Hi all,
First let me say I am African-American with a texturizer. I love this mousse, it defines my curls and leaves my hair soft. I was a little hesistant to use this product because I believed it would dry my hair out as most white products do. This product does not dry out my hair and I would highly recommend it if you have a texturizer in your hair or if you where your hair naturally for curl definition. I would also recommend Garnier's soft curl cream. Both work great! I use the soft cream when I want more soft waves than curls. You can find these products at your local Walmart for about 2.50.
Application: I wet my hair, (washing it about 3xs a week) and towel dry, then place my leave in conditioner (Cantu- also at WalMart) and then put on the G.F. curl construct or soft cream, scrunch a little and let air dry).
Pros: brought more curl to my hair, smelled nice Cons: nothing that I can think of
I bought the Garnier Fructis Curl Construct mousse yesterday. I really like the Garnier Fructis shampoo and thought I'd give the mousse a try. I applied a small palm full of mousse to my towel-dried hair and then blew dry my hair a little. I also used hairspray to help hold the curl. I have naturally wavy hair and this mousse seemed to bring more curl to my hair, which is what I wanted.
The mousse smells nice and I like the bright green color of the can.
