Pros: great soundtrack, good concept/story, good command of allies Cons: lack of internet multiplayer, you'll run into several ill-programmed deaths
This game completely befuddles me. Having played other Tom Clancy games and read of his books, I expected Ghost Recon to be one of the best games I have ever played. Part way through the game, it's not bad, but it's not really good either. In what was ...
Pros: Authentic realism, captures the essence of a U.S. Army Special Operations mission perfectly. Cons: Lots of graphical lag; limited options in "weapons kit" accessories; only 23 playable maps.
Without a doubt, Tom Clancy and Red Storm Entertainment single-handedly shaped, defined, and introduced the "tactical shooter" into America's popular mainstream with their ground-breaking release, Rainbow Six (1998). Since that time, the name ...
Pros: Character differences and selection, different modes Cons: Spotty graphics, a little too easy
Game: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Makers: Ubi Soft My Reviews Are Rated as Follows: 100 total points are possible. There are ten categories, ten points available for each. 1. Introduction/Opening 2. Storyline 3. Graphics 4. Originality ...
Pros: Total game control Cons: Graphics and sound are a bit dated
I am such a lazy pig sometimes. I have written a few reviews for games I have purchased AFTER completing this game, yet I keep putting off writing this one, for some unknown reason. Okay, maybe not so unknown, but still... Anyway, let's get on with it. ...
Pros: great scenarios, good graphics, lots of control options. terrific game for strategic action. Cons: enemies don't react intelligently to attacks. weapon load-out is too controlled.
This is a great game for people who like to plan attacks on enemy encampments, clear fields of enemy soldiers and equipment, escort armor through cities, enact covert ops to destroy enemy capabilities and to simply go out into the field and eliminate bad...
Pros: Good Graphics, 2Games in1 (5 Missions of Desert Siege), Nice Controls. Cons: Almost Too Easy (only thing i could find wrong with it)
I was just gonna put the pros & cons and that it, but oh well...
Great game, I loved the graphics, and the different type of guns they had. Great game for Beginner Players, but quick fun for Pros. If your really good at video games i advise you to...
SUCK IN THAT DISGUSTING GUT, SOLDIER !! by beerbash ,May 03 '04
Pros: I got to beat my friend (in kills) 23-7. Cons: I don't have many friends 'cause of my reviews. *Sniff*
Great game. Truly is. The story is kind of off balance but you've got a recon of ghosts on your side. What more - okay, I mean what more in the subgenre of Georgia-Attacks-The-World could you ask for? And, please, I beg of you, please, don't respond to that question by saying to yourself or your friends, "Here's what I could ask for! Splinter Cell style graphics, sound, mood, and the frustration that comes with it!"
Basically, I think that for a somewhat dated game...Ghost Recon packs one f***ing hell of a punch!

Overall Ghost Recon is a solid combat game, with good graphics, sound and gameplay. However, in this price range you can do better with SOCOM NAVY seals. Socom has a better plot line, better graphics,a nd the headset command control is in a league all by its self. ALthough both games offer online availabilty, SOCOM again is the much better game, as the headset gives you a secure communication line with your team mates that feels so realistic its almost scary. If you are in to combat games, and like collecting a bunch that bothg ames would get a recommendation, but if you are looking for just one really fantastic game SOCOM is the better choice.
