Pros: Relaxing day spa (or weekend), therapeutic mud, massage, facials, pools, rustic atmosphere Cons: Crowding, parking, intense heat in the summer
Ever have a day or week when you go out to your car, shut all the windows and scream bloody murder, or want to? Well, my sister Teri and I decided we needed to be pampered. We didn't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a luxury spa, so decided to head...

This place is great!!!
by sarapayan ,Apr 29 '07
Pros: Peace and Wine Cons: Treatments are $$$
I have been going to Glen Ivy for 5 years now and although the prices are going up it's so worth it!! If you plan on getting treatments you will pay big $$ and they are just ok. I had my first facial here and my face (after the extractions) looked red and puffy, not so great. I have had better facials. You do get your $$ worth by just useing the spa's tons of spas, pools and mud! Save your $$ and just enjoy the ground. I'm off to Glen Ivy in just 1 week! Yea!

Glen Ivy Hot Springs
by ddmiller9905 ,Jul 28 '06
Pros: Great place to spend the day. No place quite like it. Cons: Can get very crowded. A bit pricey on weekends ($48 entrance fee Fri.Sat. Sun)
The last time I went to Glen Ivy was June 2006. Each time I go there they seemed to have improved it even more. They have a steam room, two saunas, natural hot springs, something like 19 different pools and various spa services. The grounds are beautiful. The cost was $35 during the week (I got $5.25 off for being a senior). Although I think this is a really great place to spend the day, I don't think I would go on a weekend. The price is more and I imagine it's packed. It gets fairly crowded as it is during the week. At least in warm weather. I believe they have specials during the winter months. I really enjoy it here.
