Seems like a great idea, but poorly executed.

Pros: Good dubbing capability, powerful tuner, ability to record while watching another tape
Cons: Poor remote, Poor customer service, inconsistent and involved commercial editing, only one tuner.
We've had our Go Video DDV2110 for almost a year now and we haven't ever really been satisfied with it. I had been aware of the Go Video product for about 10 yrs but had never had any experience with them or anyone who had.
I wasn't familiar with...

Good Alternative to 2 VCRs

Pros: Well made, full-featured, easy to use, clear playback.
Cons: Wide enclosure, remote is poor, DVD recording is far superior.
The GoVideo DDV2110 Dual-Deck VCR is a well-designed alternative to having two vcr's connected to your a/v system. If you're not ready to spring for a DVD recorder, this is a great piece of equipment to own.

Pros: Record nice and the fact that it's a dual deck. The remote is not bad
Cons: EAT TAPES!!! Only 59 seconds marking commercial free, 150 still not worth it.

Don't even think about wasting your money!
by marshaknt ,Dec 15 '06
Pros: Good dubbing quality for the one week it actually worked
Cons: Overall just a crappy made product
Before Dvd recorders had declined in price I decided to buy this dual deck vcr, saved up and paid way too much to buy it off of Amazon.com. It worked for one week and then the first deck wouldn't play any tapes that were recorded in SLP mode: the tape would move and sound like the chipmucks, the second deck still works...but that's about it. Go Video was no help. I was still under warranty and they wouldn't take it back so now I've been stuck with a really expensive paper weight.
