Cons: Will not play DVDs made on a computer. Thus, no home videos.

We purchased this unit 2 1/2 years ago as our children were still watching VHS tapes and we were purchasing DVDs. What I did not realize when I purchased this unit is that it does not play any DVDs made on a computer. Because I want to put all of our home videos on DVD and show them to the kids on the TV, I now need to purchase a new DVD player. I will certainly do my homework next time I make a purchase.
