Pros: heals and softens extremely well, light fresh scent, non-greasy, blends completely Cons: a little pricey, feminine scent (for the guys)
Up until recently, I've always had oily skin and have steered clear of any and all moisturizers. But this year, I noticed that my knees and feet were starting to get dry and cracked and I needed something to soften them up. I didn't want a heavily ...
Pros: They're in the bottle! Cons: Might be a bit greasy for some:(
Usually when I hear the words "Gold Bond" I think of medicated powders and creams for overly dry, sensitive and itchy skin. Being a person that suffers with the aforementioned you can bet that I always have a stock of Gold Bond products in my home. Their ...
Pros: works Cons: consistency may turn some of you off.
I got a free 0.5 oz sample of Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion through the place where I exercise. I had been thinking about buying some of this anyway, because since it is officially winter here in the South, my exposed hands have been ...
Pros: Rich formula that works wonders on dry and cracked skin! Cons: The pump bottle doesn't dispense the thick lotion very well.
With cold weather approaching soon, if you are like me that means dry and cracked skin. I noticed Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion on the shelf while recently shopping and decided to give it a try. At $8.99 a bottle and from a ...
Pros: Helps dry, but not extremely dry hands Cons: Fragrance can cause allergic reaction, greasy
My 5 year old daughter, Bugs, and I have very dry skin. We've tried out a variety of lotions this winter, courtesy of my mother. Recently we tried Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion. What You Get Gold Bond Ultimate Healing ...
Pros: Love it! Penetrates fast, non-greasy, fresh scent, moisturizes for 24 hours. Cons: Can't think of a one!
I have very dry (you might even say extra dry), somewhat sensitive skin. I am not one to try every new lotion/cream that comes out on the market. I am a "creature of habit" and as long as something works for me, then I shall continue to use it. ...
Pros: Works really well Cons: It drives me crazy not to be able to get all of it.
Today is the first day of winter and while it isn’t too cold yet, it is dry in New England and it will be getting colder any minute now. Dry and cold means that I need to pull out the heavy guns when it comes to body moisturizing…..but I don’t want to ...
Pros: Scent is nice, makes hands very soft. Cons: Not water-proof.
I went to walmart yesterday to the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist what I could do about my hands. I showed her my cracked and bleeding knuckles and told her it happens every winter and really hurts. The problem I have is that I'm constantly washing my ...
Well, I did not know that Gold Bond made anything other than the medicated powder in the yellow container! I learned otherwise one afternoon last week in Walmart. My hands are seriously cracked and bleeding from the cold New England weather -- and the ...
I really love this lotion by a49ersfreak ,Dec 05 '06
Pros: Lotion works very well on rough, dry cracked skin such as mine Cons: One, make a tube for lotion more the 5.5 oz.
I love this lotion, I am a man that has very dry skin and Gold Bond is the best lotion that I have ever used. I have used every other lotion that is out there, and this is the best lotion ever. It is a little thick but it does soften and smooth my hands and body very well. So I suggest this skin therapy lotion to everyone, even the men who do or don't use lotion.
Need to change packaging for lotion w/ dispenser pump by cnurse3141 ,Jun 17 '05
Pros: Wonderful soothing, healing product Cons: Improperly packaged in a conventional body lotion jar w/ pump. Product belongs in a jar!
WE love you Gold Bond Ultimate healing lotion. There is one major problem, and it is with the packaging. It is so thick, one must cut the bottle open in order to get the last 1/4 of the product out for use. It is too thick to turn upside down and let it flow to the top. A "lotion"( it is more like a thick cream) should be packaged in a wide mouth jar! Please change your packaging for this wonderful product. It is probably 5 times as thick as conventional body lotion. I want to buy your product, but dread having to cut open the bottle when I get to the last 1/4 of the product. What were you thinking to package such a viscious product in a conventional body lotion pump jar? Please get this right, you are loosing customers over this issue, I know of at least 5, personally. Sincerly, Carol "Lori" Wood, RN,BSN,CCRN
At long last, the perfect lotion! by tomatojane ,Jun 20 '06
Pros: Wonderlotion! Smooths and softens skin, non-greasy, works all day, makes skin look healthy. Cons: None - as long as you buy it in a tube, not a pump.
I've tried SO many creams and lotions, usually lured by the cucumber scents or pretty packaging or trendy brand names. I never considered Gold Bond before, probably because I always thought it was made for body odor or something. But now that I've tried this, I'll never go back. It lives up to every promise. I apply it all over every morning after my shower and I'm smooth and glow-y all day. I've been using it for around 6 months but I got super results even on day 1. It's soft and thick and not greasy, and it doesn't just slide over the surface of your skin like other lotions. You can actually feel it absorbing immediately. I never have to reapply. My elbows, legs, knees are smooth and soft. In fact, I'm usually prone to breaking out, but not at all with this product. I will buy this product again and again as long as they make it. Only next time, I'll buy it in the tube, not the pump. The pump works great till you get to the end -- then it's so thick you can't get to the stuff on the bottom.
Finally something that works! by janacaranda ,Apr 03 '06
Pros: Not greasy, easy to apply, pleasant, light fragrance Cons: none
I got the lotion in a tube, like some of the other reviewers I don't care for pumps because it's hard to get the stuff on the bottom out. I love this moisturizer, and over the years I've tried many hand moisturizers but I'm going to stay with this. It has good consistency and a light, pleasant fragrance. My hands haven't looked or felt so good in a long time! Good on elbows and heels, too.
Best Lotion for Medical Staff/Frequent hand washers by gtrrn ,Dec 31 '06
Pros: Very moisturizing, quickly absorbed. Not greasy. Perfect consistency. Therapeutic Cons: None. This stuff is perfect!
This lotion is thick and therapeutic without being greasy. It begins to work immediately/is absorbed right away so that you have reaped some of the benefits even if you have to wash your hands soon after. Silky smooth, not oily, not too strongly scented. I used to get cracked skin on my knuckles and fingertips when I worked long, subsequent shifts. Not anymore.
This is the lotion that almost all of us ICU nurses use at our hospital here.
