Pros: Great traction on wet and dry road surfaces, easy to clean and maintain and very durable Cons: Slightly rougher ride than my previous Michelins
What great timing! My tires on my 1997 GMC Jimmy SLT 2 wheel drive were worn down to the point where I had to replace them or risk being a road hazard myself. I am a procrastinator and should have replaced my tires several months ago but I was always...
Since the SUV had been sitting on the dealer's lot for almost one year, he offered to replace the existing tires with new ones for a discounted price. Thinking of how quickly rubber can dry rot, I agreed....
Pros: quiet ride, good tread life, good sand traction. Cons: Mediocre handling and braking.
This Goodyear RTS sized 255-70x16 came on my '99 Ford Expedition. I have now passed 35,000 miles and have become quite familiar with the handling and other properties of this tire. Although I have no specific complaints concerning this tire I wouldn't...
The Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires (LT 31x10.5 x 15) came as optional equipment on my 1998 Dodge Dakota 4x4. I have been riding on these tires since December of 1997 and I have travelled just over 42k miles. I am very hard on my tires and I applaud these...
I have had the displeasure of owning these tires on two vehicles. They came as original equipment on my 97 Blazer and also on my 2000 Sonoma. In my opinion these tires have very little upside and a very large downside. Read on and I will explain in more...
Pros: Slightly reduced road noise Cons: Expensive, picks up rocks, weak sidewalls, traps mud and snow, dangerous on wet roads
I am the type of person that, for safety reasons, doesn't like having different tread tires on my truck, so whenever something happens to my tires, I have to get the same tread tire. I don't go where any normal truck owner doesn't go. I drive down some...
Pros: Came free with a $38K Durango SLT Cons: Couldn't get anything else with Durango
Can't believe I actually got 20,000 miles out of these things. Actually I didn't because I replaced 2 of them because of flats, one at 8,000 m and 1 at 13,000 m. At 20,000 one had a bubble coming out from the sidewall and decided to forego the Goodyear...
Pros: none Cons: They will kill you if you let them.
These tires came with my Jeep cherokee that I just sold, and I have to say these Tires are terrible in all but the most timid of terrains(asphalt}and only then when the pavement is dry. These tires hydroplaned at the mere sight of a rain cloud.I had at...
Pros: Quite Ride???? Cons: Poor Traction, minimal tread life, Very expensive with min. performance
I "adopted" these when I bought a Jeep cherokee and I am very displeased with the wear and traction. As the tires wore I noticed bulging on the sidewalls and the nearest Goodyear Rep. decided that was "normal"!! I have never seen tires with numerous...
Pros: handles well on dry and curve surface roads. Cons: No traction on wet roads! Very DANGEROUS!!
I will never put these tires on my truck and recommend NOT to buy these tires to others. I'm planning to replace these tires with Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo ...
These tires came OEM on my 99 Dodge Durango. The traction left much to be desired. Unusual tire ware on all 4 tires and after 25k miles they needed to be replaced (I rotated the tire every 6k miles). My Durango was only driven on the roadway and when I...
Probably the worst tire I have had on any Car or Truck that I have owned. I kept them on for 27000 miles but with winter coming I did not want to chance them again. These tires slip on dry pavement not to mention what they do on wet streets, when I would stop for a light I might start sliding you never new. The ride was very stiff and if you hit a bump in the road you knew it. After many months of looking at reviews on tires I thought I'd try my luck with a set of Toyo's
Won't spend the money on these again! by tbay93 ,Jun 29 '04
Pros: None Cons: Goodyear doesn't stand behind their products.
These tires were on my 2000 Dodge Durango when we purchased it. Very poor handling on wet conditions and snow. Had a side wall blow out driving down the interstate at 75 mph while towing a camper. Had a warranty with Goodyear but they won't honor it. They say tires don't just blow. Yah right is that why I have 600.00 worth of damage to my vehicle. Not safe at all and very poor customer service. Don't take a chance with buying these tires.
