Pros: Cheap, lots of food for leftovers, amazing salsa, healthy ingredients Cons: crowded, loud music, sticky floors and tables, bad parking
Gorditos was my first love in Seattle…… Gorditos was one of the first restaurants in Seattle I fell in love with after college. I had a wonderful beer salesman boyfriend who basically took me to every restaurant that sold his stuff and ...
I can't say enough about the food you get at this place. If you can endure the long line that will meet you at beginning of your experience, you will be rewarded by the quality AND quantity of the food that is provided. Meals are prepared before you at...
Pros: cheap, healthy, friendly staff, great salsa Cons: waiting in line, additive chips and salsa
I always used to wonder what the line was for when I drove by the businesses on 85th and Greenwood. Then I saw the light! I discovered Gorditos and there was no turning back. :)
Gorditos offers up healthy Mexican food at inexpensive prices....
Pros: The best food in the world. Cons: there are absolutly no flaws in this joint..perfect
I could probably go on about Gorditos forever but I will try to be short and sweet. This place has some of the biggest burritos and best burritos that I have ever eaten. I have never met a person that does not like Gorditos.
They have...
Pros: I'm not sure Cons: Long line's unpleasant atmosphere
Well it all started when I read all the great reviews Gordito's has received on Epinions.com, my family loves Mexican food and we are always excited to try new places.
Unfortunately I struggled tremendously trying to convince my family that this...
Pros: Best burrito ever. Cons: If you are a snob, you won't like the atmosphere. It's loud, and wonderful.
Moved from Seattle last year - I miss two things, my friends, and Gorditos - truthfully. Just the best mix of crazy atmosphere (not for stuffy snobs!) and excellent food. The salsas are superb and hand made. No pretenses, just the best burrito you will ever have. Make sure to order "fajita style." They will add grilled peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
Pros: Good food. Good prices. Cons: Dirty. Loud, louder, loudest restaurant on the west coast. Dirty men's room.
Gordito's could be a fun place to eat, their food is certainly great. this fact, however, is over shadowed by a rude little guy (the owner's preteen son?) that takes your order while you stand in line. On more than one occasion he's given me reason to fantasize about back-handing him. Once you get your order in, you pay, get your drinks and a disgustingly dirty "order number" paper burro Pinnata (sp?) for your table. The music in Gordito's is so darn loud you can close your eyes and be transported into a tex-mex nightclub. Forget pleasant conversations. This is a "bad date" restaurant. It's more for a night out with the guys or girlfriends.
Pros: They didnt block the exits. Cons: NOISY,beyond noisy, dirty, food half cooked
Way too loud, we left. Beyond safe level for your ears. Food was half cooked, or at least the beans scattered through it were. The sauce was flat out weird. I like Mexican food, but I couldnt eat this. Notwithstanding that I cant eat while my fillings are rattling. I wouldn't even get takeout. Too many speakers and too loud for that small a space. Tables not clean, floor not clean, nowhere you could get away from the speakers. I have been told that it is better on other nights. I would rather have a root canal and fast for a week than darken their doorstep again.
