Pros: No interferences, decent range, price, decent clarity Cons: Loses charge, can't adjust LED brightness
When my first baby was born in March 2007, one of the necessities for us was a baby monitor. I compared a few of the monitors and this one looked like it would work well. Just a note about this review - I have not used any other monitors ...
Pros: digital affords privacy, affordable Cons: white noise, limited range
We have been using this monitor for a year now. While we've had our problems with the performance and sound quality, we would purchase this monitor again because it is the most affordable digital monitor we could find. We needed a digital monitor ...
Pros: peace of mind and a good night sleep for all Cons: none yet
We needed to keep tabs, so we bought the Graco imonitor digital baby monitor. The company boasts they have the best performing technology available in baby monitors, and we agree. It has 2 units for reception, digital signals for no static, a range of ...
Pros: Great range and sound quality. Cons: After power outage the base needs to be turned back on.
I really love this monitor. It has a very clear sound and picks up sounds from the baby well. I have even heard things in nearby rooms. There are no problems with interference from any other electrical devices I own. That includes devices like the ...
Pros: Good range when working Cons: Quit working correctly after a month.
Reading the other reviews I possibly purchased a faulty one, because my experience with the Grago Digital Baby Monitor was not near as good as the other reviewers indicated. Our bedroom is adjacent to our son's room, so keep in mind that at most the ...
Pros: No interception at all and while the monior indicator light is a bit bright Cons: Not A One Its Perfect and have Yet to find a flaw
I have two children and am always on the lookout for the best baby monitor around. We bought the Baby Call Nursery Monitor (27 Channels) by Sony and thought that we were going to be very happy with it after having read such glowing reviews...wrong. ...
This is the absolute most frustrating piece of equipment we have in our home. We have given it as much patience as we possibly can with having it in our home for over 4 months. We wrote a letter to the manufacturer to see if there was anything we were ...
Pros: Reasonably priced. No hiss except at full volume. Excellent range. New battery lasts hours. Cons: Occasional interference issues. Volume change causes loud beep. Original battery died early.
We have owned this monitor for a couple of years now. Within the first year battery life fell from about 1.5 hours to 20 minutes. I called Graco to ask if there was an upgraded battery available. The person taking the call was non ...
Pros: Does not pick up other signals Cons: short battery life,
beeps randomly and obnoxiously,
very short range
We bought this monitor after much research. We live in the city and were concerned with interference from other monitors and cordless phones in our neighborhood. Although, it accomplishes that, I have hated this monitor since my son was a month old. It beeps randomly and continually. The battery runs out in less than an hour after being fully charged over night. In addition, when the electricity goes out and comes back on, like during thunderstorms, it shuts off and doesn't turn back on. Finally, I can't even stand in my front yard and have it work properly (remember I live in the city, so my yard is tiny and my son's room is in the front of the house.) I would not recommend this monitor. We put up with it for 8 months before buying another brand's monitor.
Pros: base runs on batteries; clear signal; long range Cons: VERY short battery life
I bought this monitor because of the ability to use it in locations where there is no AC power - camping, vehicles, etc. where there is no power for the base. I like the fact that the parent units beep when they lose communication with the base (rather than just quiting like the previous Graco analog model that I had). I also like the bright LED display that is still visible outside in the bright sun. This monitor has great line-of-sight range - I live on a farm/ranch and can receive up to 100 metres in front of the house. I have had this monitor for about 6 months and now the battery life is now extremely short and getting shorter and shorter every day; only 1 hour now and not even long enough for one nap! Totally useless because I don't need the monitor around the house - only for going outside. BTW, yes, I followed the instructions to ensure the initial battery charge was uninterrupted. Lastly, I found the monitor interferes with our wireless internet connection (900MHz radio link) and our wireless speaker system, but does not interfere with our 5.8GHz Panasonic cordless phones.
