Pros: Foldaway screen, monitor size, nightvision Cons: Spotty reception, screen unclear, poor rechargeable battery, shoddy/tempermental electrical connectors.
I'll admit that I ignored a reliable magazine's review of baby video monitors saying that they just weren't up to snuff. I chose the imonitor for it's size, the rechargeable battery, it's claimed range, nightvision and colour screen. I thought the ...

Pros: Portable. Cons: Up to two minutes with no sight or sound.
My husband did all the research for our monitor choice, he really wanted a video monitor and this was his final candidate. We got it months before baby was due and we played with it a little bit. Our first problem was it didn’t tilt and pan enough to get ...

Pros: Clear picture quality,
great night vision Cons: Non stop beeping
frequent signal loss
Poor value for the price
Goes off randomly
With the first kid I had the sound and lights monitor. It was simple and did the job. With the second I thought it would be great to reduce the static, reduce interference and most of all see the baby (and make sure she didn't roll over) so we splurged ...

Not my baby!!!!
by phiran ,Nov 27 '07
Pros: Non that I could see Cons: The fact that it's on the market.
I now have doubt about the quality of all Graco products. I am so surprised to find such garbage for such an exorbitant price.
This monitor is terrible. We just got back from Babies R Us with it and if it weren't so late, I would be heading back there to return it. To get right down to it, the quality of the video is very, very poor and the audio is delayed by about 1.5 seconds. Shame on Graco! and Shame on babies R us for carrying it. I should have known when I noticed that the packaging looked as if it had been opened (and probably returned by someone else)

Not Very Happy
by gibby182 ,Nov 16 '09
Pros: Clear Sound, Nice having monitor where baby is seen Cons: Poor Reception, Beeps With Lost Reception, Short Battery Life, Bad Customer Service, Connection Problems
I got this monitor as a gift and was really excited to try it out. After numerous attempts to get it to pick up reception I gave up and left it for a couple months. I then decided to try again and was still disappointed, it takes a few minutes at least to find reception no matter how close you are, it then cuts out frequently and makes a loud beeping noise until it regains reception (this beep cannot be turned down and terrifies my dogs). If I try to go closer to the nursery unit to help it gain reception the beeping wakes up my son. The battery life doesn't last a full evening so I leave it plugged in and charging all night (so if the weather is nice I can't go outside for long). To add to that the battery stopped charging and customer service has taken 2 months so far to replace it, I am still waiting. The screen also only works in certain lights.

Terrible product
by jeffharma ,Mar 23 '08
Pros: None Cons: Pretty much everything
Do not buy this product. We have had this product for a few months now, and the performance has been down hill since day 1. The effective range is now less than 10 feet (not 600 feet as advertised), it CONSTANTLY loses the connection. During those brief moments when you actually get a signal, the picture rolls and is nearly impossible to see (forget about seeing anything in color). After being used sparingly the past few months, the battery now lasts less than 1 hour on a full charge. When the connection is lost (which is several times per minute), the unit makes strange pinging sounds while trying to reconnect, very annoying. The zoom feature is basically useless, as you have to punch through a series of menus to get it functional.
It sure looked like a nice product, but do your homework and read the user reviews. We will be returning this monitor and looking for a product from a different manufacturer.

A non-functioning clock is inexcusable
by sanfode ,May 19 '09
Pros: The monitor does work reasonably well except for the clock. Cons: The clock is not programmed correctly and runs fast.
My biggest beef about this monitor is the clock. I rely on it to let me know what time my baby is waking up, and two things are wrong with it. 1. The 12:00 hour am and pm are switched. (i.e. after11:59 pm the clock goes to 12:00pm, instead of 12:00am) and 2. The clock runs fast. No matter how often I reset the time, it always ends up 15 or 20 minutes ahead of my other clocks. Also, the handset will sometimes vibrate while the baby is asleep and not crying. I'm not sure what causes this, but I certainly don't want to be woken up when the baby is asleep.
