Griffin Technology iTrip Auto Car Kit, Docking Station, Car / Plane Charger, FM Transmitter for Apple iPod (9501-TRIPCBL-2)
Pros: Easy to set up, use and store. Good sound. Cons: Only works with iPods with dock connector; no alternate input cable.
Before the government stuck its incompetent nose in and forced the recent digital transition on all of us (don't get me started), my drives to and from work were most often spent listening to news via the audio portion of Philadelphia's channel 6 (as ...
Pros: charges very quickly, easy to use Cons: overpriced
As a music lover, I can honestly say that it is virtually impossible for me to go a day without hearing some of my favorite songs. I was raised to embrace music as a way to express myself and to simply unwind. Music to me is what cell phones are to ...

Overview: Recently, I was looking for an iPod FM transmitter compatible with the iPod 5G (Video), that would also charge my iPod while in the car. A couple options were available, though none are very cheap. Most range from $50-$100, in ...
Pros: The ease of use. Automatic pause when you turn your car off. Cons: Lack of transmitted volume control.
I just found this item at a local Big Lots for $12. That was the right price, so I jumped in!For years, I've been using a cassette adapter to play my ipod in the car, and I've always wanted to try an FM transmitter, but the price has held ...
Pros: Portability, design, ease of use. Cons: High retail price, very low transmitting power, sound quality.
Keep in mind, this is my first FM Transmitter of any kind. The poor grading(two stars) is due to the fact that I was planning on using it in my car.
I just bought it, hooked it on to my iPod, didn't even need manuals. Really easy to use, plus great design that matches my 30GB Video iPod. When I first tried it on my car stereo, sound was very muffled and fuzzy. Reception wasn't too bad though. I picked the frequency with the clearest reception and started to drive home. I was losing reception everywhere, and did completely lose reception several times. If you are looking to use this while driving, it's definitely not for you. If you can justify spending $50 on a unit that you can only use while stationary, then OK.
Pros: SIMPLE STYLISH WORKS GREAT JUST LIKE ADVERTISED GOT MY MONEYS WORTH Cons: NO LIGHT WONDER IF IT STOPS CHARGING AUTOMATICALLY IT DOES NOT PROTECT IPOD
I GOT TWO WIRELESS TREANSMITTERS BEFORE THIS ONE AND THEY DID NOT WORK SO WHEN I GOT THIS ONE I WAS HAPPY, IT WAS EASY TO FIND A GOOD STATION PLUG IT IN AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, I LIKE THE PACT THAT IT CHARGES BY IPOD, AND IF I UNPLUG IT OR TURN OFF MY CAR IT PUTS MY IPOD IN PAUSE MODE. LOVE IT.
