There may be no Stairway, but they never said anything about no Elevator! *falls-down-shaft* No...Elevator...either?!

by ChromeKiller Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Jul 02 '07
Pros: A guitar-based music game that's loaded with numerous tracks to rock your socks off!
Cons: A foul aroma might be present from sock removal. Stock up on Dr. Scholl's!
Rock and roll -- what a weird combination. Can you imagine anyone associating rocks with rolls? While rolls are moist, chewy and go down easy when swallowed, rocks are made of tough stony mass that hurt your teeth. Owie! But somehow, somewhere in time ...

Just a Ho-Hum Port...

by underdawg Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, May 29 '07
Pros: pretty fun with friends.
Cons: lazy port.
This is a pretty fun game, but it really doesn't offer too much that the PS2 version doesn't offer. And in some ways it takes a step back... Guitar Hero 2 is a game where you plug in a guitar-like controller and "play" songs. You have 5 "fret" ...

Pros: Improved Hammer-on/Pull-off system, Extra songs, Added achievements, HD graphics, leader boards.
Cons: No wireless guitar, expensive, No online play.
Guitar Hero, the mere mention of the title brings on memories of picking up that tiny plastic guitar and going to town. Well folks Guitar Hero is back and this time on the Xbox 360. Presentation We will start off with the guitar. This ...

not a bad rock game for a budget price.

by tommy_lop Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jun 06 '09
Pros: fun music game
Cons: songs are mostly covers and there out dated.
I got Guitar Hero 2 with the Guitar Hero 2 pack with Aerosmith. Now Guitar Hero 2 is a bit older and is lacking some of the refinement of the modern day music games. There is no online play, all the songs are covers, and some of the other score keeping ...

More GH2!

by nad_masters Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Feb 22 '08
Pros: Better graphics, exclusive tracks, more songs, downloadable songs, Battle Mode
Cons: Too easy to reason with yourself to buy it again!
Before R ock Band, my brother and I found G uitar Hero 2 for the PS2. So why would we buy it again for the XBOX 360? Well, Best Buy had a sale on the GH2 for the 360 version, which ...

Great introduction for those wanting to play Guitar Hero

by donut_man23 , Feb 18 '08
Pros: Great soundtrack, fun and addicting, very social game
Cons: Not to polished, some songs are so-so (cover bands)
Guitar Hero II is the first Guitar Hero game I bought and I was surprised to find out that it was made by the same developer as Frequency and Amplitude, which I loved on the PS2. Once you get past knowing that Guitar Hero is nothing like playing an ...

Long, but fun

by artod4789 , Feb 05 '08
Pros: Gameplay is fun. Sometimes you really feel like you're there.
Cons: Graphics aren't the greatest. LOT of songs to get through.
A while back, a friend of mine introduced me to the wonders of Guitar Hero. I played a few rounds and quickly became slightly addicted. I say slightly because it was my friends game and while I had a small feeling of “Need” to get this game, I resisted ...

Warning! This game is addictive!!!

by zerohero954 , Jan 22 '08
Pros: Ton's of fun to play and watch, great for large groups or on your own.
Cons: If you're musically challenged like me, it takes a while to get used to.
"It's just a guitar game, no harm in playing just ONE game" I said . . . 5 hours later, the beginnings of carpal tunnel, and an obsession with beating the game on easy mode, I was hooked! I'd played Guitar Hero 1 a couple of times before, but given ...

Rock Gods

by khansoul , May 25 '07
Pros: Fun,fun,fun
Cons: No online multiplayer (GH III) has it confirmed though =)
This game is above all else pure fun! I have playd this game for hours on end and still have as much fun everytime I pick up my axe as the first time. I find myself bending forward and chicken strutting like Angus from AC/DC. I am a huge fan of this game ...

Something To Get Addicted To
by kahnesdalejr ,May 23 '07
Pros: Fun, Easy to learn, It gives you lots of songs to play.
Cons: It costs a lot, and the guitar feels fake, its too light.
Guitar Hero 2 is a good buy. My husband begged and begged me, and I gave in. Was I impressed by it? Yes! It's a fun game to play with a friend, if they don't anger you for messing up, lol. But, it is easy to learn, and you don't get bored, easy all the way through expert, it's fun.
plus, there is alot of songs you can download off of x-box live.

goods-
Good downloadable content, upgrades, etc. It's addictive, once you start, you just want to keep playing and playing.
and who hasn't wanted to be a rockstar??

bads-
You have to buy a second guitar to play co-op, yes you can use a controller, but it's harder, and you it takes the fun out of it. There is no online play, you have to pay to get more songs, and if you are just watching someone, the game can get boring, and even, well... dumb.
