As on that has once taken a spill on a motorcycle, I was saved from injury because of the design of the helmet and the ability to accept an impact from a motorcycle crash.
I have used this helemt before. It fits my head well and is comfortable. For safety's sake, I have applied reflective tape and reflective decals to the helmet using StreetGlo Reflective Decals brand stickers on my helmet. (See "http://www.streetglo.net" or www.streetglo.net/reflective.tape" for info on reflective accessories for the helmet.
Meanwhile, I think you'll find this helmet offers good protection (it did protect me well on a nasty fall) but the fit, well that's really an individual call. This helmet fit me extremely well and was comfortable. On the other hand, you should try it on yourself for this or any helmet for that matter. Fit is an individual choice that can't be made by mailorder.
