Pros: Fast quality printing, automatic duplexing, infrared receiver, two print trays, handles variety of media Cons: Expensive -- a bit noisier than expected
After 23 years of consistent use, my HP LaserJet III printer died. Not once had it needed repair. It did whatever I asked of it. A champion machine, its no wonder that when I extensively researched the printer market for a replacement, that HP ...

Pros: Fast and efficient. Solid and reliable. Cons: Price
The most important thing to consider about the HP Laserjet 2200dse is that it is virtually the same as the Laserjet 2200d. In fact, the body of the 2200dse is marked as the Laserjet 2200d.

Typical high HP quality in their flagship line!

Pros: Does everything it should, and very well! Cons: High cost of adding network interface.
Have had the printer for 2 years and it has been flawless. Perfect print quality, long life cartridge and great interface with the network. I use a home network and 4 other machines access this printer, and we have had ZERO problems with it. We upgraded the RAM to the 72MB max early on due to print overruns, but since then all is perfect. Have also used the duplexing and the Postscript capability. The PS is great a producing high-end 3D graphics for mathematical symbolic editors like Mathematica.
The only complaint is the high cost of adding the HP network interface card. If you need that, but the 2200dsn. Would highly recommend this product.
