I received this monitor with my system. It was a great deal. I love the monitor. The quality of the unit is great. The speakers that come with it are not that good but who would use the built in speakers anyway. The speakers are in the base of the monitor. The monitor has both digital and analog inputs.

It is very easy to use! If you buy a cpu that has this monitor, great deal. If you are given the option to upgrade to this monitor! DO SO!

Cons: Very rarely I hear a scratching sound that comes from any motion on the monitor.

I've been using this monitor for about 10 months, and I really like it. I also like the Polk Audio speakers that are hidden in the base of this monitor. My only complaint is that sometimes, just sometimes, the monitor will make a mysterious sound when scrolling webpages. For instance when I move the mouse around the screen I can hear a scratching sound coming from the monitor. But like I said this is only sometimes.

i have this monitor and it has worked wonderfully! i have had this monitor for over a year now. it has a precise, clear screen and everything comes out clear.

Pros: Good display quality.
Cons: Price for cHeaP switch, and possible other components.

I like this monitor too. But after 2 years the cHeaP switch broke, and one repair shop estimated about $100 to fix it.

Still, that's more economical than having to buy a new one, albeit cheaper than what I paid for this one.

I just hope after spending the money for the repair bill that something else does not break.

One other thing that bugs me about this monitor. When I bought it I did not get even so much as a user's manual with. Then while fishing around on the internet for info on how to possibly repair it I found a 50 page PDF manual for it on HP's web site.

I guess that HP was too cHeaP to include that with the monitor too.
