Pros: Large keyboard, lots of features. Cons: Lack of durability and a design defect. Phone difficult to use.
This is my first new Epinion in over four years. Be gentle :) I used the HTC 8215 Smartphone for two years. When I first got it, I thought it was the greatest thing ever. First impressions can be misleading. When I got the 8125, it was ...
Pros: Nice appearance, good functionality, lots of versatility Cons: Complicated for a new user, sound quality so so on incoming calls, somewhat slow processor
My husband has a very poor memory or so he claims. He brings up his poor memory whenever the excuse is useful to him – i.e. he forgets an important appointment, a birthday, or when a new technological gadget comes out that he is just convinced that he ...
Pros: Great functionality, excellent convergence device. Cons: Small stylus, odd caps/shift/number setup. difficult initial setup.
I have been using this for about 6 months now as an alternative to carrying around my Nokia 6820 and my HP 2215 PDA. It works very well as a convergence device though serving two functions at once does create the necessity for some compromise. The most ...
Pros: Neat little item- handy to use internet & variety of other computer functions Cons: bulky, too hard to dial, bad ringer & speaker, buttons push by themselves, quirky QWERTY
I have used the Cingular 8125 smart phone for six months and although I'm a patient guy, I'm ready to throw in the towel. I purchased the 8125 as a little treat to myself -- I was due for an upgrade and I downgraded my Cingular minutes plan in order ...
Pros: Wide and powerful range of features, more than adequate converged device Cons: Sometimes confusing setup, occasional WM5 stability questions
For most of the previous two years, I have been a Nokia 6620 user for my phone and a Toshiba e805 Pocket PC PDA user. Over time, I finally came to the decision that I needed a converged device, primarily because of the bulk and inconvenience of having ...
Pros: Windows OS means lots of software. Build quality. Wifi connectivity. Outstanding phone and fuctions. Cons: Wireless B?? Feels cheap but its not cheaply built. Screen protector a must!
I have now completed the first 48 hours of use with my new Cingular 8125. This is essentially the same phone as offered by Imate (K-Jam) and HTC (Wizard) with a couple of key exceptions. This is my first smart phone. Previously I had a Motorola ...
Pros: Does almost everything a PC can! Cons: No physical keypad for dialing. Smallish stylus. Some features of Windows Mobile 5 are irksome.
This PDA-phone is the ultimate hybrid device but be aware of what you'll be giving up, like external number keys for dialing and a full-size PDA screen and stylus. And be prepared to deal with the complexities of Windows Mobile 5. This review is both ...
Pros: Good display, responsive, good connectivity options, cool keyboard, nifty design, good build quality construction Cons: Can't use keyboard(s) when driving, annoying interface options, minimal manual
I bought the Cingular HTC 8125 so I could use the web browser to preview a wine site I was building. I needed a new phone and really wanted to go with a touch screen. I was tempted by a couple other models but chose the Cingular 8125 because of its ...
Pros: Powerful device and the reception gives Nokia a run for their money. Cons: Thick, bulky and slow internet
This is a fairly bulky phone. Its basically a laptop in your pocket. It comes with a wired hands-free earpiece with mic, a leather hip style case, and an extra stylus. It works well for email, pop3 as well as html based account. Because the ...
Pros: Does anything a mini PC will do and then some. Cons: I live in an area where the phone signal is low but works OK.
I have had this PDA / Phone for over a year. It does everything I want it to do and then some. Forget about paying for GPS service from your carrier. I purchased a blue tooth receiver for 99 dollars and loaded my own software(Thank you MS) and it works ...
Pros: slide out qwerty keyboard, it does everything! wifi! Cons: flimsy, fragile screen, too loud
This is the phone for the person who loves computers and can't stand to be away from them. I don't recommend it for those who are not fond of computers as this is based on windows and it does have windows problems from time to time. I love this phone ...
Pros: It has great features and great screen. Cons: None. So easy to use.
This pda is so cool and fun to have for any business man. it's really convenient and has many great features such as a calculator, phone, organiser, and email. i just bought mine last month and i am hooked on it. It has a great battery and i would ...
Pros: Options, options, options Cons: Impossible to use in car
The Cingular 8125 phone is a great phone as far as options are concerned. It runs the windows mobile operating system and has many windows programs. You can sync the phone with a computer and the phone has wi-fi capabilities. Internet capabilities as well as a slide out keyboard. The keyboard is fairly easy to use, however, the numbers are not easy to work with because you must first hit shift before each number. The stylus has a tendency of being difficult to work with. The phone is next to impossible to use while driving. To make it at all possible, you must purchase a bluetooth earpiece. All in all its a good phone. It could be better and could be worse.
Pros: Everything you could ever want this phone has, MP3, Phone, Wireless, Everything.
Cons: Little expensive
My best friend gave this phone to me for my 19th birthday. I love this phone its just awesome. I had never owned a phone that had all the options this one has before. It saved me from having to buy a laptop to browse the internet. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone interested in a phone. 8 out of 10 for me.
