We've been going to Hackney's for a few decades now and can't complain about anything. A great casual place to take family and friends. Great burgers, good beer (Harp, Bass, Guinness, etc.) The buffalo burger is one of my favorites. Service has always been good. Our kids are always welcome. The Lake street location has entertainment on most weekends. They also have a basement for large groups or parties. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner there and everyone was happy. Nowadays we usually go to their Lake Zurich location, and it's just as good. Not really any negatives unless maybe you are young and looking for a place to party. Hackney's caters to mostly families and parents.
