Pros: Good picture, fully featured, small size. Cons: Erratic antenna reception, not portable when viewing, small remote buttons, 2-hour battery life.

Pros: Great picture, station finding, remote control, friendly user interface to adjust features. Not room here Cons: Really cannot think of one.

Pros: Works fine if plugged into a cable outlet. Cons: Doesn't receive any channels with just the supplied antenna. Can't use universal remote.
I bought this TV in anticipation of the digital switch-over to replace a battery powered analog set for use in emergencies and power outages. From the day I got it, this TV has never received ANY stations using the built-in antenna. I initially bought a separate antenna, but that didn't help so I returned that. It did work fine as a kitchen TV when plugged into the cable outlet. But then my cable company, Comcast, began requiring the use of a digital adapter which requires a universal remote. And guess what -- Haier TV's can't be used with a universal remote, per their tech support! When I asked why the TV doesn't receive any over-the-air channels, I was told that I should read the manual because it states that the TV may not receive any channels at all! (What the manual actually says is that weak signals may not be received.) I live in suburban Atlanta, and can't believe ALL the channels around here are that weak!
I have mailed and emailed their customer complaint department and received absolutely no response whatsoever.
