Pros: large, oblong, comes out for storage and washing. Cons: none!
If you are a busy person, fear not, the slow cooker is for you! Placing your food in the cooker in early am, and letting it cook all day long on a very low temperature will create a mouth watering meal for supper!
Don't worry about leaving it...

Pros: removable liner, reliable product Cons: outmoded graphic design
As a working person, I have come to depend greatly on my slow cooker. It is so easy to put ingredients in it in the morning, plug it into a timer and turn it on. When I come home, dinner is waiting! I definitely recommend getting a slow cooker for...

Pros: Removable cooking area and convenience cooking Cons: Size 6.5 quarts better come with a big family to eat up
Crock pots have always been associated with soup and pot roast but there is so much more. The great thing about this one is the removable cooking surface. That makes for easy storage (fridge) and easy cleaning. The convenience of a crock pot means you...

Pros: easy to clean, heats evenly Cons: can't find one!
I had always made soups, stews, roasts, etc in the oven or on the stove. When my brother in law gave me this slow cooker for Christmas, I thought, "I'll give it a try." WOW! My day is freed! I just toss my ingredients in in the morning, plug it...

Pros: Larger size, oval shape and "keep Warm" setting makes this particular crockpot attractive to meet my needs. Cons: The glass lid is nice but the metal rim around it doesn't get thoroughly cleaned and it doesn't have an "AUTO" setting that turns the cooker down to "LOW" after reaching the boiling point. And the glass scratches easily.
I had my last Crockpot for over sixteen years. When I went looking for a replacement I chose the Hamilton Beach 6.5 quart MealMaker Slowcooker for a few reasons. First, the size was very important to me as we are a family of five...three sons,...

Pros: Easy clean gleaming white insert; extra large capacity; 2 year warranty; excellent customer service Cons: poor product quality control; temperature settings high
Size:
The size of this slow cooker is very accommodating. It can even fit a Corningware baking pan if making loaves. It's also perfect for making a very large batch of spaghetti sauce or roasting a whole 5-6 lb chicken (with room to spare)....

Pros: I use my slow cooker at least once a week and love it! Cons: The outside of pot gets a little hot.
I would recommend this product to everyone and in fact have done so. I bought one and love it and told my sister-in-law about it. She also purchased one for her family. You can put your ingredients in this pot in the night before and have lunch ready the...

Pros: Great for Pot Roast Cons: Not Great For Baking
If you have never been able to make a tender pot roast the other way (i.e. on top of the stove or in the oven); then this is the product that you need! Just put the meat in. (I don't even brown it); add some potatoes, onions, spices, and a little tomato...
