Pros: plenty of juice, good value, ready to go out of the box
Cons: a little loud, other than that, a great product

The other reviews pretty much sum this juicer up so I won't make you read the same stuff again. Here's the deal:

1) works right out of the box
2) cleans relatively easily
3) the large mouth makes it faster and easier
4) a bit louder than average
5) cleans up pretty easy
6) first time out, took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. After a bit of practice, it's about 5 minutes.

Pros: Seems to be pretty powerful.
Cons: Use a liner for the pulp, as recommended, it's pretty messy!

I just bought this juicer this weekend at Wal-Mart for 49.99. I didn't have much fresh fruit on hand, so I had to wing it.

Standard size apples do not fit whole into the "big mouth". I just chopped it in half and it was fine. Kind of came out like grainy apple cider...but the other apples I had eaten in this batch were kind of grainy.

Then I tried an orange, 2 bananas and about 8 strawberries. It produced just under 2 c. of juice. I put it in the blender with a try of icecubes and 2 scoops of protein powder. Not bad, but I did add a little splenda because it was slightly tart.

My 4 y/o loved it, 2 y/o thought it was OK, but didn't finish. DH said it was "pasty", from the protein powder.

So now I'm searching for recipes, because I didn't care much for the ones included with the juicer.

I would recommend this juicer.

I haven't had this juicer but a couple of days, and love, love, love it. Years ago I used to juice bought an expensive $150.00 juicer (Oster Brand) Not nearly as good as this Hamilton Beach from Wal-Mart for $60.00 bucks. I'm really excited to start juicing again. And I gather from the other reviews I've read, I've made a good choice.
