Pros: Style, price, great coffee Cons: Drips a little when interrupting brew, carafe handle seems a little far from the glass
I bought this coffee maker and I love it. Not only is it stylish, but it brews coffee just right. There's a light blue, sturdy, detachable water reservoir on the back that you can fill according to how much coffee you make. Using the reservoir, I ...
Pros: Great design, components easy to use, no more water or coffee spills. Cons: None.
This unit brews coffee so well I've noticed the glass carafe only needs a gentle hand washing. The coffee looks appealing our mornings of drinking a bitter sludge from being run through a overheated, tediously slow brewing cycle are over. The ...
Pros: Super Bad!! (as in really good). Cons: I do not have any viable cons to report.
I was so tired of buying coffeee makers that leaked, had a karaffe that poured everywhere except in the cup and made poor coffee that I decided I would spend as much as three hundred dollars if necessary to get a good maker. I read reviews and decided to ...
Pros: Removable Water Reservoir Cons: Big Blue, Sharp-Edged Carafe, Water Drips, Etc
This coffee maker was purchased to replace a 10-year-old $9.95 Proctor Silex that had finally given up its hot plate heating element. I wanted another one with a separate compartment for the water, rather than one I could accidentally pour water ...
Pros: price removable receptacle flavor button Cons: it does not pour and bring the coffee to you
First, I will address complaints from other reviewers.OMG someone complains about the CLOCK on a COFFEE MAKER???I have 2 pair of glasses, 1 for far and 1 for close. I can read the clock on the coffee maker from across the kitchen (30 ft) ...
Best Coffeemaker I Ever Had by somerfleck ,Feb 12 '09
Pros: Great tasting coffee Looke Good Easy to Clean Cons: None
I thought that the Bunn was the best but since it is such a pain to clean when the coffee starts to taste bitter and it does not auto shut off; I tried this one because of the high reviews. It makes excellent tasting coffee and looks good too.
The lid covers the pot in such a way as to keep the coffee fresh and the flavor + button strengthens the flavor of the coffee just a little bit, so you can fine tune the brew to your particular taste. I think that for some brands of coffee which are extra rosted such as French Roast you would leave the flavor + off and other types of coffee you would leave it on. A great feature.
Pros: Tastes great, no drips, love the style, ability to fill water holder at sink Cons: Hard to find locally, usually s/o. Coffee could be a little hotter when first brewed.
Took me a while to finally locate this particular brand of coffee pot. My local Target's were always sold out and I had to drive 1 hour out of town to get it. After I read reviews here and saw local TV show do a review, I knew it was the one I wanted. It was worth the wait and I am very satisfied. The style is very appealing, there are no drips from the carafe, which was a "biggie" from other brands, program is easy to follow. The ability to bring the water dispenser right to the sink is a real plus for me too. Cost is also afordable. My only wish is that coffee was a little hotter when brewing cycle is finished. Second cup after it sits on warming tray is hotter.
Modern look at right price by myreview818 ,Mar 01 '09
Pros: Price, look, size, blue display feature. Flavor plus option. Easy purchase at local Target Cons: Excess dripping onto metal plate. Annoying : flashing.
Standard drip coffee maker. Can remove glass carafe during brew cycle. Optional use Flavor plus button slows brewing for richer tasting coffee. Nice looking at good price. Do not like that excess water from coffee basket drips onto metal plate when glass carafe is not in place. Do not like that the : between Hours and Minutes keeps flashing. Do not like that automatic shut off is 2 hours (should be shorter time). At least one optional use water filter should have been included with machine.
Perfect. I'll tell you why... by tried2tellya ,Mar 31 '08
Pros: Design, capacity, price, coffee. Cons: If you aren't satisfied with this coffee-maker, you need to lay off the caffeine!
When I look for a coffee-maker I look for style, capacity and ease of use. Over the years I've purchased the best coffee makers money can buy and this ($40) one puts them to shame. If you want a maker that doesn't have 6 parts and requires a maid service to clean every day...this is it. If you want a maker that can be prepped in seconds flat, holds 12 cups and makes great coffee...this is it.
It's simple, it's smart and it works. SIMPLE -- Components are few and easy to clean...PHD "Push Here Dummy" programming could not be simpler. SMART design -- The removable water canister is one of those "Why didn't I think of that!" ideas. WORKS -- Nothing weak or fancy about this coffee maker...just dependable, good-looking, great tasting coffee. I'm buying 2 before they discontinue it and I'm unable to find another one years down the road.
Pros: Removable water Reservoir Cons: Clock, drips water when removing filter basket
Other than making a good pot of coffee, I'm not happy with a few of the features. First of all, you can't see what time it is unless you're right up on the clock, and also when viewing the clock from an angle you can see it blinking between the current time and the program time. Also, when I remove the filter basket, water dripped all over the hot plate (this can't be good for the hot plate). I think its going back ASAP.
