Pros: Great price, excellent monitor. It is of a much higher quality than I expected.

Pros: Nice picture when it works.
Cons: Frequent failure, pixels. Rebates not honored.

I purchased this monitor October of 2006 and it came with a $100 rebate. It is now April of 2007. The monitor was very pleasing with bright colors and good resolution. Not very good with movies as dark scenes were very light. After 2 months two solid red and green lines appeared on one side. I sent it back for repair and after a month received it back. The monitor worked fine for another 2 weeks and now there are 3 bad pixels, one almost in the middle. They are noticeable on dark background. So I have to wait until another 3 pixels go back before sending for repair again. Don't forget, you have to pay for shipping to them.

I sent in a rebate in October of 2006. As I said, it is April 2007. I emailed RebatesHQ.com and then Wintergreen. They emailed something back like "we are working on it don't contact us again". Beware of Hanns-G rebates, don't expect them to arrive. Beware of Hanns-G quality, a 3 year warranty is nice but not if you have to send it in for repair every 3 to 4 months.
