Pros: Great location on the strip, reasonable price Cons: Basic room, no real theme
I stayed at Harrah's for one Saturday night in December 2006 on business. LOCATION Harrah's is located in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. This is a great location for those who want to walk up and down the Strip to visit the various hotels and ...
Pros: Carnival Atmosphere makes it fun and exciting Cons: Many Time Share people from Fairfield running about trying to sell you something
Harrah’s Las Vegas Style – Where the fun never ends… I love Harrah’s in Las Vegas, in Phoenix, in Laughlin, basically where there is a Harrah’s I am content. The reason being is that they have such a wonderful comp system called “Total Rewards.” I ...
For Mothers Day my daughter sent me an airline ticket to Arizona for a trip in June, she had rented a room at Harrah's in Vegas for a wedding party she was going to be attending and wanted me to come along. We would drive there from her home in Arizona....
Pros: Colourful, carnival place to stay. Reasonable price with good restaurants Cons: Too many timeshare people about. Too many people smoking in the casino's.
I've been meaning to write this review since I got back from Las Vegas in October 2001, but with starting a new job, well things just went by.
I stayed at a great central hotel on the famous strip called Harrah's. You say it like Harrods, but...
Pros: Location, price Cons: Pool. Kinda boring. Did I say POOL?
We stayed 8/9 - 8/13 probably during some of the hottest temperatures in Vegas. The temperatures consistently hit 101 degrees and higher. I mention this as it probably had an impact on the quality of our stay. Let me start with the room. As others in ...
Pros: Great location and price! Cons: No "personality"
When I travel on vacation, my primary considerations are comfort and price. It's kind of a balancing act; I'll pay more for a really nice place, but will also put up with less-than-luxury (though not bottom of the barrel) for a really good price....
Pros: Reasonably priced. Cons: Noisy, showing its age.
A recent stay at Harrah's was not quite disappointing; ok but not memorable in any way. The age of the hotel is showing, with rooms that are so noisy that you can easily hear the revue from your room...no tickets required. There was a space between the ...
Pros: middle of strip, cheap eats next door like Mcdonalds Cons: pool, view from old rooms, can't use fridge, scary balcony
My husband and I stayed at Harrah's on 08/10/04-08/12/04. We only paid $59 dollars a night via expedia. We had our two kids with us. Their ages are 4 and 2. Yes we don't believe that Las Vegas is a place for kids but we were sort of stopping over. ...
Pros: Centrally located; reasonably priced; Ming's Table (restaurant) Cons: Less-than-stellar service; small standard room; small swimming pool
We stayed at Harrah's in early September 2005, and it was a first visit to this hotel/casino. We chose this hotel mainly because it was 1) reasonably priced and 2) centrally located. On both counts, Harrah's fit the bill, but the room was very ...
Pros: BED!!!!!, really nice rooms, fair price Cons: Room Service, parking (getting in and out)
This is only my 4th trip to Vegas. I have stayed in NY NY, Sahara, Mirage, and now Harrah's. I have to say, it has the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept on! (in all travel history) The room has everything you need, including the bathroom. However, I ...
My favorite place to stay in Vegas! by jeneppe ,Mar 17 '04
Pros: Great location, reasonable rates, friendly casino, good food Cons: Some rooms are very loud, overly aggressive timeshare salespeople
We have stayed at Harrah's many times. We are members of the Total Rewards club, so we are offered two free nights per month.
Harrah's is one of the friendliest casinos out there and everyone is very easygoing. However, the timeshare salespeople are especially aggressive at this hotel and it can become annoying very quickly.
The Fresh Market buffet is always good and the service is generally excellent. The Steakhouse has excellent food and also a fantastic view of the Strip.
A word of advice: If you want a quiet room, ask for the 'new tower', AWAY from the carnival court. The shows there go on into the early morning hours and can be quite loud.
Also, be sure to get a Total Rewards card. You can use any comps you may get at the Rio Hotel too.
Old Las Vegas, Just Okay. by charrenee24 ,Oct 24 '04
Pros: Location. Outdoor music court. Cons: Bad slots, smoke smell, low life guests.
I stayed in this hotel in April of 2004. I was a little disappointed in general. I guess after staying the other beautiful hotels in Las Vegas, this one was a little bit of let down. There is the ever present scent of smoke in everything. The machines in this hotel were awful, we never played slots here.Seedy looking people and police in the hallways in the night. Sometimes a little scary. Buffet was very basic with few offerings but high price. This hotel is definitly the old Las Vegas. Only stay here if you don't plan on spending much time in room.
