Difficult game play. I tried playing the game and have given up. All the game has you do is put spells on these huge bugs that come after your a shoot fire. That's the WHOLE game. Level by level all it is, is they add more of these bugs for you to cast spells on. BORING!!! The colors are also very dark making it really hard to see. I found myself casting spells in the direction that the fire from these big bugs were coming. You couldn't even see these bugs very well.

Pros: Explore deeper environments with secrets, quidditch is fun, other features like dueling club are fun.
Cons: Much of the storyline left out, frusterating puzzles

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for Windows is a pretty good game. There is a big environment to explore, like hogwarts and the grounds outside. Some places were left out, like the Griffindor Common room, which is included in the gamecube version. It's very interactive - there's many secrets to uncover and hidden rooms to find. The graphics are okay, it's nothing great but they're okay. The game itself is nothing like the book. It some of the storyline and leaves many parts out. If you only want to play the game because you like the book's unique plot, you might want to stay away from this. Overall, I'd say it's pretty fun game, more geared towards younger kids but pretty challenging.
