Pros: Great odor control and absorbs wonderfully! Cons: Price unless you take into account how long it lasts.
First there is clay litter. Clay litter absorbs to a point but does little to control odor. Clay litter is dusty, gets smelly fast and gets soaked. If I wait more than 24 hours to change the litter box the house smells like a big litter box. The...
Pros: Trackless, Odorless, and just great! Cons: Price may be prohibitory... not available as widely as other brands
Trackless Litter Pearls are practically perfect.. Unlike the regular litter pearls which are round (and DO roll around on the floor) TRACKLESS Litter Pearls are odd shaped flat silicone that work great. They absorb odors well and are cost effective in...
Pros: no oder, works for a month Cons: Trackless? Yeah, right! Bag it comes in rips easily

Pros: Traps odor well, no need to change or add litter for a while. Cons: not available at many stores, pearls rolls everywhere.

Pros: Cheaper to use despite higher up front cost. No urine odor. Cons: Hard to find.
I've tried just about every cat litter, and silica gel is the best. However, not all silica gel litters are alike. Some have very large crystals that won't go through the scoop. Another brand apparently crushes the large crystals creating silica dust. Probably not too good to breathe. Then they hit it up with laundry detergent scent. YUK!
Litter Pearls have none of these problems. The little round balls just fall right through the scoop. No laundry detergent scent!
