Pros: Gets kids counting and trains their hand-eye coordination Cons: Too hard to disassemble and pieces can get lost easily!
Summary: Ok "HHH" is really good for the hand-eye coordination and counting skills. That's all it's good for in my opinion. This game brings back memories from the 1980's when I owned it (i think it was the '80s!). It does get my children excited and they go ... read more

Pros: Fun. Cons: Noisy, pieces to lose.
Summary: Recently, I got a coupon for $2 off the Hungry Hungry Hippos game manufactured by Milton Bradley. We were in need of some games, so I figured $2 off was a good incentive to purchase this game. It cost $16 something at Wal-Mart, and with the $2 off ... read more

Pros: Sportsmanship Skills, Hand-Eye Coordination, Counting Skills Cons: LOUD, Choking Hazard, Levers Break
Summary: Few games have created the love - hate relationship that I associate with Milton Bradley Hungry Hungry Hippos. Recommended for children ages 3 – 6 and intended for 2 – 4 players, this game has been enjoyed by preschoolers for more ... read more

Pros: Brightly Colored, Toddler Loves it! Cons: Loud, sometimes gets stuck
Summary: So why does it make me want to pull out my hair now?
We bought this game for my adorable daughter for Christmas. She is an only child, until May 13th anyway, so games that require more than one player involve either her father or me.

Pros: Very entertaining for kids Cons: Small marbles/balls can possibly choke small children who tend t put things in their mouths
Summary: This game is so great! My kids began playing this game at a neighbors house one night. My daughter was so into it, she jumped up and down when she made the hippos eat. I have never heard my two kids laugh so hard when playing a game before.

Pros: Bright colors, fast action for kids, easy concept. Cons: Pretty noisy, small marbles might get lost or swallowed by babies around.
Summary: When I was a kid in first grade, Hungry Hungry Hippos was THE game to have. I received it as a Christmas present that year, if memory serves me correctly, and loved it. Being the only young child in the house, I would often be forced to play it by ... read more

Pros: Kids love the noise, and the fast paced action Cons: Lots of marbles to pick up, and my game actually "bites" me!
Summary: I curse the Nickelodeon channel for the OVER-MARKETING of toys and objects to young children during the morning hours of Nick Jr. Every day I have to tell my child "We'll see" when she's begging for the item displayed during the regular programming. ... read more

Pros: wild fun for a very short time Cons: too loud, marbles easy to lose, fun runs out very quickly
Summary: I understand that the point of a game is to have fun. In a perfect world, every game out on the market would help teach something, serve an educational purpose, or help the child learn sportsmanship. But I know that many games are out there for sheer ... read more

Pros: kids like, fun to play, sometimes even older "kids" may enjoy 5 minutes or so Cons: noisy, pieces get lost

Summary: Santa just gave this toy to my son. Although he is not quite 3 (will be in Feb), he LOVES it! The reason for being 3 + is because of the marbles being a choking hazard.
