Hyatt Hawthorne Suites, Anchorage

Pros: Better priced accommodations in the area.
Cons: Pricing is very seasonal -- such is Alaska.
We've stayed at this hotel three times over the years (8/04, 8/07, 5/08), and always found the double-queen rooms to be what we needed. The ocean of Cook's Inlet is within walking distance to the west, and the (new) mall is to the northeast. The ...
