i tried this shampoo after reading the reviews on epinions. i really had doubts to whether this shampoo could really stop the very severe flaking i had. the last straw was when one of my co-workers brushed alot of flakes from my shirt. as in the other reviews this shampoo does have a strong clean laundry smell. thats the worst part of the shampoo??? smelling clean?? yep! heres the amazing part, i used it for 2 shampoos, that it. all the flakes are gone!! if you have a flake problem i cannot recommend this shampoo enough.

I have suffered from dandruff since I started adolescence. With other shampoos, my scalp would develop a scaly, itchy condition that I have now come to know as Seborrheic Dermatitis. It is a painful and annoying condition that makes the hair look less than stellar.

I attempted to use prescription anti-dandruff shampoos, but since I have a lot of hair, shampooing became a costly task. Regular Head and Shoulders products simply don't work for me, but Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment, with 1% selenium sulfide, seems to eliminate the problem completely.

I have wavy hair that can be styled curly or straight, and this product works well in styling both ways. It may be noted that the product strips hair of oils, so use an intense conditioner on the ends and longer parts of the hair away from the scalp after use. I personally haven't had problems conditioning the roots of my hair in addition to the rest, but it might be useful while first using the product to let the shampoo do its work on the scalp with no other product.

Don't waste your money with this product! I used this shampoo for two months and did not see any results except that my hair got drier! It was a waste of my money.
