Pros: Easy to grip, interchangeable parts, spill proof Cons: must suck way too hard to get any liquid out making it impossible to use
When my daughter was born last April, I was given this sippy cup as part of a shower gift. My three year old instantly claimed it, only to abandon it the first time she tried it because it did not work. My quest for the ultimate spill proof cup has ...
Pros: Easy-to-clean one-piece valve, comes in toddler-attracting designs Cons: Big-kid rim is hard to suck from; no intake valve makes sucking difficult
When my oldest was learning to drink from a cup, Playtex was making big news in parenting circles by introducing a spillproof sippy cup! We used those through two kids, but somehow most of them had been lost by the time number three came...
Pros: Simple spill proof cup with single hole valve design Cons: Valve doesn't always allow air back in causing it to not work.
I love spill proof sippy cups. I adore them. They came out when my oldest was just at that age and I don't think I could have survived his toddler and preschool years without them. He's 11 now and the sippy cup world has changed some since then. My ...
Pros: Plastic-indestructable by a 2 year old, doesn't spill Cons: none
I've been through several brands of sippy cups but this is my favorite. My child is rough on his cups, they get thrown often. But this cup never spills or leaks the plug always stays in. Now let me tell you I've had so many cups that the plug goes bad on....
I like the munchkin big kid cups. My daughter likes the Dora aspect, though we have some spongebob and plain ones we've received as gifts. The valves seem to wear out faster than the playtex ones, and when they get worn or stretched they will fall ...
Pros: We love the blues clues pictures, but that is all we liked about this cup. Cons: Very hard to sip and the valve slips out making it leak.
My 20 month old daughter loved the blues clues picture on the cup so we bought her two. The picture is the only good thing about this cup. It is very hard for her to suck on and the valve pops out easily making it leak. It would work well for a child...
Pros: My kids love the Dora the Explorer and Blues Clues designs! Cons: The messes make this a purchase more hassle than it's worth.
I purchased the healthflow Munchkin Dora the Explorer and the Blues Clues cups for my toddlers. I find that the valves come out easily, resulting in leaks. I have come into a room in my house, to find juice everywhere! I have to take the cup, clean up the mess, replace the valve in the cup and refill the cup with juice. This is a real hassle, considering I have two year old twins, who love a good mess!
I am really disappointed in this cup/valve design.
