Pros: lots of functions, fits all types of memory cards, touch screen Cons: speed with photo printing is sometimes slow
About a year and a half ago my husband and I were in need of a printer/scanner/copier because the printer we had was about 9 years old. So, in the world of technology we were badly out of date. It was a pain in the neck trying to get anything we needed ...

Mediocre pricey all-in-one printer with terrible customer support
by schubtoni ,Mar 24 '09
Pros: Attractive, high print quality, numerous features and intuitive controls. Plenty of memory chip slots. Cons: Noisy, slow, paper tray has small capacity, poor quality & bad HP support.
The C8180 is a full featured all-in-one printer scanner copier with good print quality. It's an attractive unit with intuitive controls. I can not recommend this printer however due to quality defects the unit I received has and the difficulty in getting HP to stand behind it's warranty. The ink level indicator never worked on this unit and after six months the unit stopped being able to print in black (two cartridges confirmed it wasn't the ink cartridge). After exhaustive discussions with HP tech staff I was told that they would replace the unit but they never sent one out and a week later I'm still waiting.
