by littlesybil , Jun 05 '03
Pros: Easy to use, fairly large storage, good features, decent quality pictures.
Cons: A bit finicky, requires large distance to focus.
I'd been eBaying for over a year and I'd been searching for a new PC for almost as long. I already owned a digital camera, but it was far from satisfactory.

That was my situation, when I saw the ad for a decent PC bundle, including digital...

At the beginning of the summer I decided to purchace a digital Camera. I purchaced the 318 from OfficeMax for $200. This product is now far cheaper, probably retailing for around $150.

Good camera for someone looking to spend little

by goodvalues , Aug 07 '02
Pros: Good camera for someone looking to spend little. Good value.
Cons: Nowadays, might be able to find a lot better for a little more???
The camera is a good value for someone either new to digital who wants to get something relatively inexpensive and easy which takes "ok" photos or someone who wants to stay under $200 range.

When I say "ok" photos, I mean a camera, for...

The good cheap digital

by Mel_B , Mar 15 '03
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, takes up to 100 + photos
Cons: Uses up batteries power very quickly, doesn't always take clear pictures
I've always liked HP products not only because of the price but because they seem to last a little longer than your usual product. Plus they are compatible with almost every computer system out there.

I bought my HP 318 Digital Camera last...

Great Beginner Camera

by laurie56672 , Aug 05 '02
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Uses lots of photo paper(lol)
I shopped around quite abit before purchasing the HP 318. I wanted a camera that would produce quality pictures, but being new to the digital camera scene, I didn't want to pay $400.
The 318 has all the features you need to produce good...

Pros: loaded with features, 2x digital camera, lightweight and compact
Cons: No lens cover
This is the first time I've bought a digital camera. I knew I wanted something with a higher resolution, starting over 2 megapixels, and perhaps a zoom would be nice. I found the HP318 camera on sale after Thanksgiving at a local office warehouse...

Got what I paid for

by auscfan , May 02 '03
Pros: Easy to use, not very sophisticated
Cons: Eats battery life, somewhat fragile in battery door, not for quality photographs
I received this camera as a gift from my boss instead of a turkey during the holidays. I have used it for 2 years now and ready to "get real" digital camera. For a low end giveaway camera this might suffice. But the picture quality is just OK, not...
