Pros: Fast, Great color, Killer document performance, simple, low TCO. Cons: Low paper capacity (250pg std), low memory (64mb)
We're a moderate volume printer -so- a fast, high volume, and most importantly - RELIABLE - printer is required. After the death of our Phaser 8500 - we needed a new printer. A couple of months of research went into the decision to pick up a Laserjet ...
Pros: NETWORKABLE!! Full unit functionality over the wired network environment; fast color printing; separate color cartridges. Cons: Loud!
The need for medium footprint workgroup/ departmental network attached color laser printers can never be overestimated in my experience. And when it comes to this class of printer, no company does it better than Hewlett Packard, and the HP ...
Pros: Fast printing, easy setup Cons: Parts feel 'cheap'
Having the 'little brother' (HP2600n) at home, I was interested to see how this newer, faster version would work when it was purchased for my library. I think that the most impressive feature of this printer is the speed at which it is able to pump ...
Pros: Easy setup. Reliable, consistent operation. Great paper handling. Many sources for replacement toner. Cons: A bit on the noisy side, but this is minor.
I've had a the HP3600n at work for 2 years and have had no problems with it. It simply does its job as designed. I like it so much I just bought one for my personal use at home. HP has dropped the pricing so that the printer costs less than the value of ...
Pros: Excellent print quality, reasonably fast, high yield consumables, ethernet connection, flexible paper handling, intuitive menu... Cons: Expensive color consumables, can be a bit slow with complex documents
Looking around Newegg, as I do very frequently, I saw a Color Laserjet 3600n going for 250$ with free shipping. I immediately thought “That’s GOT to be a mistake!,” as it is a 600 dollar+ printer. Well, it wasn’t a ...
Pros: Good print quality on graphics, speed is reasonable Cons: Operating cost, memory buffer overflow, noise
The HP 3600n is a reasonably good personal color laser printer although the cartridges are quite expensive and printing large files can at times be problematic. I leave the printer off when not in use (to conserve energy), the printer takes about 30 ...
Pros: None I can think of Cons: technical support appalling, poor printing quality, totally unsuitable for printing photos, networking capabilities unreliable
Put very simply, its printing quality is extremely poor - printing photos (which they promoted heavily in their marketing material) is absolutely appalling, but even text & graphics is not quite where one would expect a printer to be these days. The ...
Pros: The Duty Cycle and front end panel controls are good. The rigor and construction is good. Cons: Host Based language and resulting slow print speeds. Faded and contrasty color.
I bought this HP3600n printer as an upgrade from my worn-out HP2500. I immediately experienced a drastic drop in printing speed. The print language is HP JetReady 4.2, which is a host-based language. HP seems to have removed the processing power to ...
Hp 3600n "A Giant Step Backwards" by hunrya ,Jun 12 '06
Pros: fast response for first page, network ready and quick to set up Cons: slow, poor washed out colors and line art poor transitions to new color
This printer prints nothing like the previous model hp laser-jet 3550
which I happily owned until a sensor went bad 4 months out of warranty.
The 3550 Has perfect color match to my screen without any work. Vibrant colors, sharp edges & line art strait out of the box.
This new 3600n, according to an hp rep, "has more wax in the toner."
They were trying to do something, I don't know what, but what we get are
gray blacks rougher more pixally artÑwashed out colors, poor quality line
art. . .
The text isn't bad, but it's not nearly as dark as it used to be.
I bought two in one day because the first one was a defect, said "cartridge not
engaged" even though it certainly was.
Also, the printing slows down after the first few pages. Just printing text from a pdf I got 10 pages a minute not 17!
Pros: fast response for first page, network ready and quick and easy to set up Cons: No USB cable or computer data connection not supplied,
This printer prints a washed out color, nothing like the manufacturer suggests
Wish I had bought HP 3550.
From out of box - Poor Line art with multiple color miss aligned in places.
Colors are not vibrant as with HP 2600 which significantly cheaper, half retail price.
HP laser jet 3600n - out of ink warning 1st day by poipu ,Feb 09 '09
Pros: none Cons: india support this printer dont buy one.
just dont buy this printer. It was our second HP laser jet 3600n and I am throwing it in the trash today, 3 months after receiving it. HP support will simply waste your hours and days. If you just bought one, return it in the 30 day window and run.
I will be glad to go into detail if someone really cares, but they have burnt me out so far. What a nightmare.
